หลังจากโผรายชื่อผู้เข้าชิงรางวัลของ 46th Baeksang Arts Awards ประกาศออกมา และแน่นอนที่ปีนี้ย่อมมี IRIS พร้อมเหล่าดารานำฝีมือชั้นเซียนติดโผมาด้วย ซึ่งคาดว่าคุณพี่ลีบยุงฮุนคงเอาคว้ารางวัลไปครองอีกเช่นเคย (หลังจากพี่แกไปกวาดรางวัลมาทุกเวทีแล้ว) แต่ก็มีเสียงถามมาจากบางคนที่ไม่รู้จักลีบยุงฮุน (ได้ไง???? คุณพี่เขาก็เป็นรุ่นพี่มหาวิทยาลัยฮันยางของน้องซ็อกด้วย) และละครเรื่อง IRIS วันนีเลยขอยกขึ้นมานำเสนออีกรอบ ซึ่งบทความเก่าๆ ของ IRIS ทางทีมงานของเราได้โพสต์ไว้นานแล้ว รวมทั้งบทเพลงด้วย ตั้งแต่ละครเริ่มฉาย (ก่อน You're Beautiful ซะอีก) ลองค้นหาดูกันนะคะ สำหรับจางกึนซ็อกคงต้องไปรอลุ้นเขาจากบทเพียร์สัน ใน Itaewon Homicide Case กันนะคะ (ติดโผเข้าไปได้ก็เก่งแล้ว น้องเอ๋ย)



IRIS เป็นละครฟอร์มยักษ์ของค่าย KBS ที่นำดาราระดับแม่เหล็กมารวมตัวกัน และที่เป็นที่สนใจมากที่สุดก็คือ เป็นการกลับคืนสู่จอทีวีของ 2 ดาราดัง ลีบยุงฮุน (หลังจาก ALL IN) และคิมแตฮี (หลังจาก Love Story In Harvard) เสริมทัพด้วยคิมซึงวู (ผู้จัดการใหญ่ฮันเทจุน จาก Hotelier) และดาราใหม่แต่หน้าเก่า T.O.P. จากวง Big Bang ทั้งหมดนี้เป็นส่วนผสมที่ลงตัวทำให้ละครฟอร์มยักษ์เรื่องนี้เป็นที่จับตามองเป็นพิเศษสำหรับปี 2009 นี้ ละครเรื่องนี้ไปถ่ายทำหลายประเทศทั้งฮังการี ญี่ปุ่น เซี่ยงไฮ้ ทั้งยังเป็นละครเรื่องแรกที่มีการถ่ายทำเป็นทั้งละครและภาพยนตร์ไปพร้อมๆ กัน โดยภาพยนตร์จะออกฉายต่อเมื่อละครจบลงแล้ว ซึ่งขณะนี้ละครชุดนี้กำลังออกอากาศอยู่ที่เกาหลี โดยมีทั้งหมด 20 ตอน ความดังของละครและนักแสดงทำให้บริษัทผู้สร้างสามารถขายละครเรื่องนี้ให้แก่ประเทศต่างๆ ตั้งแต่ละครเริ่มฉายแค่ตอนแรกเท่านั้น โดยขายไปแล้วถึง 7 ประเทศ แน่นอนที่มีประเทศไทยรวมอยู่ด้วย


IRIS ถูกจับตามองตั้งแต่เริ่มมีการพูดถึงการสร้างละครชุดนี้ครั้งแรก IRIS ดัดแปลงมาจากภาพยนตร์ดังในอดีต “SHIRI” ซึ่งถือเป็นผลงานที่ทำให้วงการภาพยนตร์ทั่วโลกหันมาจับตามองเกาหลีเป็นครั้งแรก เมื่อโปรเจ็คท์นี้ถูกหยิบยกขึ้นมาเพื่อทำเป็นละคร เริ่มแรกได้มีการวางตัวให้ เบยงจุน ( Bae Yong Jun ) แสดงประกบกับ ควอนซังวู ( Kwon Sang Woo ) แต่ในขณะนั้นเบยงจุนยังติดถ่ายทำละครชุด TWSSG อยู่ จึงต้องพักไปชั่วคราว และสุดท้ายบทนี้จึงมาตกอยู่ที่ลีบยุงฮุน (เพราะพี่เบแกเดี้ยงเล่นไม่ไหวแล้ว) ดาราเกาหลีที่โกอินเตอร์ไปเปิดตัวในฮอลีวู้ดกับบท Storm Shadow ใน G.I. JOE ที่เพิ่งผ่านสายตาผู้ชมทั่วทั้งโลกไป และกำลังจะมีการถ่ายทำภาค 2 ในปีหน้า (ถึงพี่แกจะโดนจิ้มพุงไปแล้วก็สามารถฟื้นคืนชีพขึ้นมาได้ เพราะผู้สร้างคนนี้เคยปลุกผีมัมมี่มาแล้วถึง 3 ภาค แค่นี้ถือว่าเรื่องจิ๊บๆ)


เรื่องย่อ

คิมฮยุนจุน (ลีบยุงฮุน) และจินซาวู (จุงจุนโฮ) เป็นทหารในหน่วยกองกำลังพิเศษ ทั้งสองผ่านการฝึกฝนอย่างหนักและเป็นเพื่อนรักกัน ทั้งคู่ได้พบกับชอยซึงฮี (คิมแตฮี) ต่างเวลาต่างสถานที่กัน แต่ตกหลุมรักเธอเหมือนกัน โดยที่ต่างก็ไม่รู้ว่าคนที่ตัวเองหลงรักเป็นผู้หญิงคนเดียวกัน วันหนึ่งฮยุนจุนกับซาวูถูกพาตัวไปยังสถานที่แห่งหนึ่ง พวกเขาพยายามจะหนีออกมาและสุดท้ายจึงได้รู้ว่านี่คือการทดสอบเพื่อรับพวกเขาเป็นสายลับในองค์กรความมั่นคงแห่งชาติ (NSS) ทั้งคู่ได้พบกับซึงฮีอีกครั้งที่นั่น และได้รู้ว่าการที่เธอมาตีสนิทกับพวกเขาก็เพื่อทดสอบ แต่ความมั่นคงและจริงใจของฮยุนจุนก็เอาชนะใจซึงฮีได้ในที่สุด

ฮยุนจุนรอดตายมาได้โดยความช่วยเหลือของ “เจ้าของเสียงลึกลับ” และได้รับรู้เรื่องราวขององค์กรลับที่ชื่อว่า “ไอริส” 1 ปีต่อมาฮยุนจุนกลับมาอีกครั้ง เขากลับมาเพื่อทวงแค้นกับคนที่ทำให้เขาเหมือนตกนรกทั้งเป็น (ตามตำนานกรีกโบราณ เทพธิดาไอริสหรือเทพธิดาแห่งสายรุ้ง เป็นผู้นำสาส์นระหว่างโลกมนุษย์กับสวรรค์ เชื่อกันว่าปลูกดอกไอริสไว้บนหลุมศพจะช่วยให้เทพธิดาไอริสมานำพาดวงวิญญาณของผู้ตายสู่สรวงสวรรค์ หรืออีกนัยหนึ่งก็คือเป็นสัญลักษณ์ของการเดินทางสู่โลกแห่งความตายนั่นเอง) เขากลับมาเพื่อจัดการกับ “ไอริส” องค์กรลับที่พยายามจะขัดขวางการรวมประเทศเกาหลีเหนือและใต้ ฮยุนจุนยังมีปริศนามากมายที่ต้องไขให้ออก จุดประสงค์ที่แท้จริงของ “ไอริส” คืออะไร? ทำไมเขาถึงตกเป็นเป้าหมาย? ปริศนาการตายของพ่อแม่ของเขา (ซึ่งเป็นผู้เชี่ยวชาญด้านฟิสิกส์นิวเคลียร์) มันคืออุบัติเหตุหรือฆาตกรรม? ทั้งหมดนี้หาคำตอบได้ใน “IRIS”

Synopsis [20 episodes]

National Security System (NSS) Top 707 agents Hyun-jun and Sa-woo are blood brothers who swore to trust each other and unchanging friendship for life. They meet agent Seung-hee there and both fall in love with her. But Hyun-jun and Seung-hee become close and Sa-woo fights to hide his feelings for Seung-hee. One day, they are immediately sent on a mission to Hungary. When they successfully finish off their job with immaculate teamwork and are celebrating it, a message arrives to Hyun-jun asking him to meet in secret.

Baek-san, an executive of NSS who had been waiting for Hyun-jun orders a solo mission. Despite the tight protection of bodyguards, Hyun-jun succeeds his mission. But before escaping, Hyun-jun gets wounded by his targets’ head security bodyguards, and later he is shockingly betrayed by his most trusted friend, Sa-woo. Hyun-jun tries to escape with Seung-hee’s help, but he ends up losing Seung-hee. And his car also explodes; they are both misled into thinking that the other had died. Hyun-jun gets saved by an unidentifiable ‘Voice’ and learns the secret identity of a group called, ‘Iris’.

1 year later, with the two Koreas about to be reunified, Hyun-jun makes his return. After spending a nightmarish life of being betrayed and losing everything, Hyun-jun returns to get revenge on those who threw him into the living hell. With the help of the President, Hyun-jun returns to his post in the NSS. Starting a fight against ‘Iris’, the secret society that tries to interfere with reunification, Hyun-jun now puts everything on the line for the battle of his life.

ลีบยุงฮุน เกิดเมื่อวันที่ 12 กรกฎาคม ปี 1970 (อายุ 39 แล้วค่ะ) ที่กรุงโซล มีชื่อภาษาอังกฤษว่า ไบรอัน นับถือศาสนาพุทธ เขาสนใจเรียนภาษาอังกฤษตั้งแต่อายุ 18 และศึกษาภาษาฝรั่งเศสและแมนดาริน เขาจบปริญญาตรีสาขาวรรณกรรมฝรั่งเศส จากมหาวิทยาลัยฮันยาง (Hanyang University) และปริญญาโทสาขาการละครและภาพยนตร์ จากมหาวิทยาลัยจุงอัน (Chung-Ang University) และน้องสาวของเขา ลีอึนฮี ที่อายุห่างจากเขาถึง 8 ปี เคยเป็นนางงามเกาหลี ปี 1997

ลีบยุงฮุนเข้าสู่วงการในปี 1991 ในละครทีวีเรื่อง "Asphalt My Hometown" และต่อมาภาพยนตร์ที่เขาแสดง “Joint Security Area” ก็ได้รับความนิยมอย่างสูงขึ้นสู่บ๊อกซ์ออฟฟิศทำให้เขาโด่งดังขึ้นมาและมีผลงานออกสู่สายตาผู้ชมอย่างต่อเนื่อง และล่าสุดเขาก้าวสู่เวทีฮอลีวู้ดในบท Storm Shadow ในภาพยนตร์เรื่อง G.I. Māgha Pūjā or Makha Bucha is an important religious festival celebrated by Buddhists in Thailand, Cambodia, and Laos on the full moon day of the third lunar month (this usually falls in February). The third lunar month is known in the Thai language as Makha ; Bucha is also a Thai word , meaning "to venerate" or "to honor". As such, Makha Bucha Day is for the veneration of Buddha and his teachings on the full moon day of the third lunar month.

The spiritual aims of the day are: not to commit any kind of sins; do only good; purify one's mind.

Makha Bucha is a public holiday in Thailand, Laos and Cambodia - and is an occasion when Buddhists tend to go to the temple to perform merit-making activities.

Makha Bucha Day marks the four auspicious occasions, which happened nine months after the Enlightenment of the Buddha at Veluvana Bamboo Grove, near Rajagaha in Northern India. On that occasion, as recorded in the commentary to the Mahasamayasutta, four marvellous events occurred:

1.There were 1,250 Sangha followers, that came to see the Budhha that evening without any schedule.
2.All of them were Arhantas, the Enlightened One, and all of them were ordained by the Buddha himself.
3.The Buddha gave those Arhantas principles of the Buddhism, called "The ovadhapatimokha", the Buddha’s Teaching. Those principles are: - To cease from all evil,- To do what is good,- To cleanse one's mind;
4.It was the full-moon day.

The Buddha gave an important teaching to the assembled monks on that day 2,500 years ago called the ' ovadhapatimokha ' which laid down the principles of the Buddhist teachings. In Thailand, this teaching has been dubbed the 'Heart of Buddhism'.
In 2010, Makha Bucha Day is February 28.



วันมาฆบูชา (ภาษาบาลี: มาฆปูชา) เป็นวันสำคัญทางพุทธศาสนาของชาวพุทธนิกายเถรวาท และวันหยุดราชการในประเทศไทย "มาฆบูชา" ย่อมาจาก "มาฆปูรณมีบูชา" หมายถึงการบูชาในวันเพ็ญกลางเดือนมาฆะ ตามปฏิทินของอินเดีย หรือเดือน 3 ตามปฏิทินจันทรคติของไทย (มักอยู่ในช่วงเดือนกุมภาพันธ์ หรือมีนาคม) ถ้าในปีใดมีเดือน อธิกมาส คือมีเดือน 8 สองหน (ปีอธิกมาส) ก็เลื่อนไปทำในวันเพ็ญเดือน 3 หลัง (วันเพ็ญเดือน 4)

วันมาฆบูชา ได้รับการยกย่องเป็นวันสำคัญทางพระพุทธศาสนา เนื่องจากเหตุการณ์สำคัญที่เกิดขึ้นเมื่อ 2,500 กว่าปีก่อน องค์สมเด็จพระสัมมาสัมพุทธเจ้าทรงแสดงโอวาทปาฏิโมกข์ท่ามกลางที่ประชุมมหาสังฆสันนิบาตครั้งใหญ่ในพระพุทธศาสนา โดยมีเหตุการณ์สำคัญเกิดขึ้นพร้อมกัน 4 ประการ คือ พระสงฆ์สาวกที่มาประชุมพร้อมกันทั้ง 1,250 รูปนั้นได้มาประชุมกันยังวัดเวฬุวันโดยมิได้นัดหมาย พระสงฆ์ที่มาประชุมทั้งหมดต่างล้วนเป็น "เอหิภิกขุอุปสัมปทา" หรือผู้ได้รับการอุปสมบทจากพระพุทธเจ้าโดยตรง พระสงฆ์ทั้งหมดที่มาประชุมล้วนเป็นพระอรหันต์ผู้ทรงอภิญญา 6 และวันดังกล่าวตรงกับวันเพ็ญมาฆปุรณมีดิถี ขึ้น 15 ค่ำ เดือน 3 ดังนั้นจึงมีคำเรียกวันนี้อีกคำหนึ่งว่า "วันจาตุรงคสันนิบาต" หรือ วันที่มีการประชุมพร้อมด้วยองค์ 4

เดิมนั้นไม่มีการประกอบพิธีมาฆบูชาในประเทศพุทธเถรวาท จนมาในสมัยของพระบาทสมเด็จพระจอมเกล้าเจ้าอยู่หัว (รัชกาลที่ 4) พระองค์ได้ทรงปรารภถึงเหตุการณ์ครั้งพุทธกาลในวันเพ็ญเดือน 3 ดังกล่าวว่า เป็นวันที่เกิดเหตุการณ์สำคัญยิ่ง ควรมีการประกอบพิธีทางพระพุทธศาสนาเพื่อเป็นที่ตั้งแห่งความศรัทธาเลื่อมใส จึงมีพระมหากรุณาธิคุณโปรดเกล้าฯ ให้จัดการพระราชกุศลมาฆบูชาขึ้น โดยการประกอบพระราชพิธีคงคล้ายกับวันวิสาขบูชา คือมีการบำเพ็ญพระราชกุศลต่าง ๆ มีการพระราชทานจุดเทียนตามประทีปเป็นพุทธบูชาในวัดพระศรีรัตนศาสดารามและพระอารามต่างๆ เป็นต้น โดยในช่วงแรกพิธีมาฆบูชาคงเป็นการพระราชพิธีภายใน ยังไม่แพร่หลายทั่วไป จนต่อมาความนิยมจัดพิธีมาฆบูชาจึงได้ขยายออกไปทั่วราชอาณาจักร

ปัจจุบันวันมาฆบูชาได้รับการประกาศให้เป็นวันหยุดราชการในประเทศไทย โดยพุทธศาสนิกชนทั้งพระบรมวงศานุวงศ์ พระสงฆ์ และประชาชน จะมีการประกอบพิธีต่าง ๆ เช่น การตักบาตร การฟังพระธรรมเทศนา การเวียนเทียน เป็นต้น เพื่อเป็นการบูชารำลึกถึงพระรัตนตรัยและเหตุการณ์สำคัญดังกล่าว ที่ถือได้ว่าเป็นวันที่พระพุทธเจ้าทรงประทานโอวาทปาฏิโมกข์ ซึ่งกล่าวถึงหลักคำสอนอันเป็นหัวใจของพระพุทธศาสนา ได้แก่ การไม่ทำความชั่วทั้งปวง การบำเพ็ญความดีให้ถึงพร้อม และการทำจิตของตนให้ผ่องใส เพื่อเป็นหลักปฏิบัติของพุทธศาสนิกชนทั้งมวล

นอกจากนี้ ในปี พ.ศ. 2549 รัฐบาลไทยได้ประกาศให้วันมาฆบูชา ให้เป็น "วันกตัญญูแห่งชาติ" เนื่องจากปัจจุบันสังคมไทยวัยรุ่นสาวมักจะเสียตัวในวันวาเลนไทน์ หลายหน่วยงานจึงพยายามรณรงค์ให้วันมาฆบูชาเป็นวันแห่งความรัก (อันบริสุทธิ์) แทน

สำหรับในปี พ.ศ. 2553 นี้ วันมาฆบูชาจะตรงกับ วันอาทิตย์ที่ 28 กุมภาพันธุ์ ตามปฏิทินสุริยคติ

Combined with her grace and musical expression, both her technical score of 78.30 and her presentation of 71.76 were the highest of the night. She set a new world record for the free skate under the ISU Judging System.

Overall, Kim totaled 228.56 points, shattering her personal best and own old world record by a huge margin of 23.06 points.[24] She won the gold medal, becoming the first South Korean skater in any figure skating category to medal at the Olympic Games.

Kim's gold medal at the ladies' event is South Korea's first medal at the Winter Olympics in any event other than speed skating and short track.

Back in February, we reported that Boys Over Flowers star Lee Min Ho signed an endorsement deal with donut chain Dunkin’ Donuts. Well a new 20 second CF featuring the F4 Leader has recently been released. The CF takes dunkin(g) literally by having it take place in a basketball arena setting. The crowd isn’t into the player dunking, instead they’re focused on Lee Min Ho dunking his donut.

Back in August, Lee Min Ho had a lucky fanmeeting / promotion of sorts with the fans as he served Dunkin’ Donuts for a day for the customers. Lee Min Ho hasn’t been in the news much after the popular show Boys Over Flowers ended, the last time was for the Cass Beer Kiss CF also featuring 2NE1 member Sandara Park. Hopefully, for his sake, he can get another big acting gig for a future drama. In the mean time he can bank on the Goo Jun Pyo image with these endorsements.

Hallyu star Lee Young-ae met with reporters on Tuesday, speaking for the first time since marrying unexpectedly in late August.

The 38-year-old actress held a press conference at Hanyang University ahead of attending her first class to begin doctoral studies in theater and cinema.

"I am very sorry to have caused confusion but its all due to good news so I ask for your generous understanding," Lee started by saying.

She added, "I do want to thank you for the interest but also want to apologize to the staff at Hanyang University who are having a hard time and the students who study here."

Lee, best known for her role in hit TV drama "Jewel in the Palace", took all of Asia by surprise when her legal advisor revealed through a press release that she married a 55-year-old Korean-American businessman on August 24 in the United States.

She declined to answer questions regarding her husband, identified only by his last name Jung.

Below are the questions and answers from her press conference.

You held a private wedding in the United States.
Lee: I was not ignoring my fans that have been supporting me from far and near but I both thank and apologize to you for how this has turned out. I did want to tell you [about my marriage] officially too. There are many ways to hold a marriage but I tend to be on the quiet side so I ask for your generous understanding regarding that. Ultimately, I thank everyone deeply. I will continue to try hard as I have done so far. Studying is an extension of an actor's life so just because you don't see me, it doesn't mean I'm not pursuing my career as on. I will go back to the basics and try hard so I can show you a new side to me.

What sort of person is your husband?
Lee: Everyone has both good and bad sides to them but I like everything about him. He is trustworthy and sincere. I have emotions deeper than love for him.

Are you happy?
Lee: I am.

What has changed since your marriage?
Lee: There weren't as many reporters usually but (after marrying,) so many of you have come to see me.

What is your parent's reaction?
Lee: They are happy. But they are having a bit of a hard time and feel uncomfortable because of the overwhelming interest from all of you. Please refrain from visiting their house or my school if possible.

So many people are interested in your husband. Why have you decided not to disclose his identity?
Lee: I would if he was in the entertainment industry like I am but he's not so a lot of things would be inconvenient if we did disclose who he is. I tried to take that into consideration as much as possible. It's what our couple wanted. We do not want to expose [who he is] so I hope you will help us in doing so as much as possible.

How did you meet and for how long did you see each other before marrying?
Lee: We met for a time period that is not short. Please understand for me not being able to tell you the details.

What are your future plans?
Lee: I have a new family now so the first thing is to be loyal to it. I've also started studying but its part of what I've always been doing, nothing new, so please watch how I develop as an actress. I am trying harder.

Will you finish your doctoral studies in Korea?
Lee: It's hard for me to say whether I will or not because nobody knows what will happen in the future.

And plans for children?
Lee: I'm not young so if it happens...

Korean actor Jang Geun-seok, set to kick off his fan tour in Asia next month, has asked fans to watch out for bogus tickets for the event.

"We heard from the company organizing Jang's fan meeting in Taiwan that several fans had bought tickets for the event through online ticket sites and fan cafes but never actually received them", Jang's agency Y-TREE Media said on Friday.

All 2,500 tickets for the "2010 Jang Geun-seok Asia Tour in Taipei" on March 7 had sold out however, in just three hours of going on sale earlier this month.

"Tickets for Jang's fan meeting in Taiwan have sold out completely and there is no secondary seller so there is a high chance that the tickets bought through someone other than the event's organizer are fake", Y-TREE emphasized, adding fans for extra caution in purchasing tickets for his remaining tour.

The actor is set to visit a total of four countries till May for his Asia tour which also includes China, Hong Kong and Singapore.

Jang made his debut in the entertainment industry as a model at the early age of five. He has appeared in several dramas such as "Beethoven Virus" and "Hong Gil Dong".

Last year, he played the role of an eccentric lead singer of idol group A.N.JELL in TV series "You're Beautiful".

เกาหลีเป็นประเทศเกษตรกรรม และชาวเกาหลีเพาะปลูกข้าวเป็นอาหารหลักมาตั้งแต่โบราณกาล มาในสมัยนี้ อาหารเกาหลีจะเป็นตำหรับ ซึ่งประกอบด้วย เนื้อสัตว์นานาชนิด ปลา พร้อมด้วยพืชสีเขียวและผักต่าง ๆ อาหารหมักดองต่าง ๆ เช่นกิมจิ จอทกอล Jeotgal คืออาหารทะเลหมักเกลือ และดนจัง (Deonjang) หรือถั่วเหลืองหมักเหลว ซึ่งขึ้นชื่อในรสชาติโดยเฉพาะ และมีคุณค่าทางโภชนาการสูง

พูดถึงอาหารเกาหลี คนทั่วไปจะนึกถึงรสชาติเผ็ดร้อนของพริก และกลิ่นกระเทียม แต่ที่จริงอาหารเกาหลี มีหลากหลายรสชาติ แต่ละมื้อจะมีอาหารตั้งแต่ 3 ชนิด ไปจนถึง 12 ชนิด สำหรับราชวงศ์ หรือเศรษฐี ประกอบด้วย ข้าวหรือโจ๊กหุงพร้อมกับถั่วต่าง ๆ ฟักทอง โสม เห็ด ธัญพืชอื่น ๆ อาจเติมเนื้อสัตว์อย่าง ไก่ หรือหอย จานถัดมา จะเป็นซุป สตูว์ ผัก และเนื้อสัตว์ ซึ่งปรุงด้วยวิธีการต่าง ๆ



อาหารเกาหลีจะมีลักษณะเป็น หยิน-หยาง ซึ่งถือเป็นเอกลักษณ์ที่สำคัญ หลักคิดแบบ หยิน หยาง ตามการแพทย์แผนจีนนั้น ทุกสรรพสิ่งในโลกนี้จะประกอบไปด้วยสองด้าน ซึ่งด้านทั้งสองจะอยู่ตรงข้ามกัน แต่ต่างฝ่ายต่างต้องพึ่งพาซึ่งกันและกัน เพื่อช่วยรักษาสมดุลให้กับร่างกาย เช่น ชาวเกาหลีนิยมรับประทาน ซัมเกทัง หรือซุปไก่โสม เพื่อเรียกกำลังในช่วงฤดูร้อน หรือหากอากาศหนาวเย็น ร่างกายต้องการอาหารเพื่อทำให้อบอุ่น ต้องกิน “ชินซอลโล” หรือหม้อร้อนที่ประกอบด้วยเนื้อปลา ผัก หรือเต้าหู้ ซึ่งนิยมทานช่วงหน้าหนาว เป็นต้น

ชาวเกาหลีเชื่อว่า อาหาร คือยาในชีวิตประจำวัน หากกินอาหารที่ไม่สอดคล้องกับสภาพร่างกายแล้ว เราอาจเจ็บป่วยได้ และหากเรามีพฤติกรรมการกินที่ไม่เหมาะสมเช่นนั้นเป็นเวลานาน โรคภัยไข้เจ็บที่เกิดขึ้นย่อมยากที่จะรักษาให้หายได้ ดังนั้น ชาวเกาหลีจึงมักใช้อาหารเป็นยา เช่น โสม ตังกุย และพืชผักสมุนไพรอื่น ๆ ความจริงสมัยก่อน การปรุงอาหารของเกาหลีไม่นิยมใช้เครื่องปรุงรสมากนัก และพริกก็เพิ่งแพร่หลายเมื่อศตวรรษที่ 16 ผ่านโปรตุเกส สเปน เข้ามาทางญี่ปุ่น



อาหารในวังหลวง

คนโบราณของเกาหลีคิดว่า อาหารนอกจากทำให้อิ่มท้องแล้ว ยังมีผลต้านการบำรุง อาหารกับการแพทย์มาจากแหล่งเดียว พืชผักทุกชนิดล้วนมีสรรพคุณทางยา ใช้รักษาโรคภัยและบำรุงร่างกาย ในวังหลวงจึงมีแพทย์ทางโภชนาการคอยดูแลเรื่องอาหารการกิน โดยดูจากพระพลานามัยของพระราชา หยินและหยาง 5 ธาตุ ปรับเป็นสูตรอาหาร 5 รส บางครั้งก็ให้งดของแสลง เพื่อป้องกันโรคภัย ทำให้นางกำนัลต้องพลอยมีความรู้ด้านนี้ไปด้วย นอกจากเน้นความอร่อยแล้ว สุขภาพของพระราชาก็เป็นสิ่งสำคัญ อาหารในวังหลวง นอกจากมีนางกำนัลคอยดูแลแล้ว บางส่วนก็ต้องอาศัยผู้เชี่ยวชาญ ซึ่งก็คือพ่อครัวมืออาชีพที่ชำนาญเรื่องอาหาร



ตามประวัติศาสตร์จารึก ในราชวงศ์ “โซซอน” ว่ากันว่า การเสวยของพระราชาเกาหลี มักจะมีข้าวสองชาม ชามหนึ่งเป็นข้าวธรรมดา ส่วนอีกชามเป็นข้าวผสมข้าวหนียว แล้วหุงด้วยน้ำถั่วแดงอีกที เพราะเชื่อว่าการกินข้าวแดง จะช่วยสะเดาะเคราะห์ให้พ้นภัย สมัยก่อนพระราชาเกาหลีจะเสวยวันละ 5 มื้อ มื้อเช้าที่สุดก็ประมาณ ตี5 ตี6 เรียกว่า “มื้อรุ่งอรุณ” ส่วนมื้อเช้าประมาณสิบโมงเช้า ต่อด้วยมื้อเที่ยว มื้อเย็น และสุดท้ายคือคือมื้อดึก ส่วนใหญ่ก็เป็นผลไม้ ขนมหวานหรือเกี๊ยว

อาหารราชสำนักเป็นเรื่องราวความพิถีพิถัน ในการปรุงแต่งให้สวยงาม และเสริมสร้างสุขภาพให้แข็งแรง โดยอาหารอันเป็นเอกลักษณ์ของอาหารราชสำนัก คือ ซอล โล และกูล ชอน พัน ที่มีวิธีการเสิร์ฟตามแบบประเพณีนิยม สิ่งสำคัญขอบอาหารราชสำนัก คือ พ่อครัวที่ได้รับการฝึกฝนมาอย่างดี จะต้องรู้จักคัดเลือกวัตถุดิบที่นำมาประกอบอาหารที่ดีที่สุดจากทั่วทุกมุมของประเทศ ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพืชผัก เนื้อ หรืออาหารทะเล อาหารราชสำนักกับอาหารทั่วไปของเกาหลีนั้นมีความแตกต่างกันที่ อาหารราชสำนักจะไม่เน้นความจัดจ้านของรสชาติและเผ็ดเท่าอาหารทั่วไป



ชนิดของอาหารเกาหลีตามประเพณีนิยม

1. บับ (Bap) ข้าวนึ่ง และจุค (Juk) ข้าวต้ม
ข้าวต้มเป็นอาหารหลักของครัวเกาหลี ส่วนใหญ่ใช้ข้าวเหนียว บางครั้งเป็นพวกถั่ว เกาหลัด ข้าวฟ่าง ถั่วแดง ข้าวบาเลย์ หรือ ธัญญพืชชนิดต่างๆประกอบเพื่อเพิ่มรสชาติและคุณค่าทางโภชนาการ ข้าวต้มถือว่าเป็นอาหารบำรุงและเป็นอาหารเบา มีข้าวต้มหลากหลายชนิด อาทิเช่น ชนิดที่ทำด้วยข้าวและมีส่วนผสม ด้วยถั่วแดง ฟักทอง หอยเป๋าฮื้อ โสม ลูกสน ผัก เนื้อไก่ เห็ด และถั่วงอก




2. กุก (Guk) ซุป
ซุปเป็นอาหารจานสำคัญเมื่อมีข้าวมาเสิร์ฟ เครื่องปรุงของซุปชนิดต่างๆมีผัก เนื้อสัตว์ ปลา หอยเชลล์ สาหร่ายทะเล และกระดูกวัว

3. จิเก (Jjigae) สตูว์
ชิแจคล้ายกับกุกแต่ข้นกว่าและแห้งกว่า ชิแจที่เป็นที่นิยมมากที่สุดทำจากเต้าเจี้ยว ชิแจมักจะเผ็ดร้อนเสิร์ฟขณะร้อนจัดในชามหินร้อน

4. จิม และ ชอริม (Jjim and Jorim) เนื้อหรือปลาตุ๋น
จิมและชอริมเป็นอาหารคล้ายกันทำด้วยผักชุปซอสถั่วเหลืองแล้วนำมาเป็นส่วนผสมต้มในไฟอ่อน



5. นามุล (Namul) พืชและผักใบเขียว
นามุลทำด้วยพืชหรือผักใบเขียวนำมาต้มเพียงเล็กน้อยหรือทอดผสมกับเกลือ ซอสถั่วเหลือง งาเค็ม น้ำมันงา กระเทียม หัวหอม และเครื่องเทศ

6. จอทกอล (jeotgal) อาหารทะเลหมักเกลือ
จอทกอลเป็นอาหารรสเค็มจัดทำจากปลาหมักโดยวิธีธรรมชาติ หอยเชลล์ กุ้ง หอยนางรม ไข่ปลา พุงปลา และเครื่องปรุงอื่นๆ



7. กุย (Gui) ประเภทปิ้งย่าง
การทำกุยคือการนำเนื้อหมักย่างบนเตาถ่าน อาหารเนื้อชนิดนี้ที่เป็นที่นิยมคือ พุลโกกิ (bulgogi) และ คาลบิ (galbi) ยังมีอาหารจานปลาอีกหลายอย่างที่ปรุงด้วยวิธีนี้

8. เชิน (jeon) จานกระทะร้อน
เชินเป็นแพนเค้กชนิดหนึ่งที่ทำจากเห็ด ฟักทอง ปลาแห้งแผ่น หอยนางรม พริกเขียว เนื้อสัตว์ หรือเครื่องปรุงอื่นๆ ผสมกับเกลือและพริกไทยดำก่อนนำไปชุปแป้งและไข่แล้วทอด

9. มันดู (Mandu) ประเภทยัดไส้
มันดูทำด้วยแป้งแผ่นยัดไส้เนื้อ เห็ด แตงทอด ถั่วงอก บางครั้งใช้เนื้อหมู เนื้อไก่ หรือปลา แทนเนื้อ
