Photos of actor Gong Yoo grabbed attention when he was seen wearing a stylish suit while filming in front of a camera. On September 19, an online community posted photos of the actor captioned, “Gong Yoo’s CF Shooting Pose”.

According to information released to us by YG Entertainment, Big Bang‘s T.O.P has unfortunately suffered an injury on the back of his hand during the filming of his movie ‘Alumnus‘. On September 21st, T.O.P was filming a combat scene that took place near a piece of glass.

During the filming, he unfortunately hurt his hand on a glass fragment and is reported to have been admitted to the hospital for surgery on the same day. He is currently resting at the hospital. As the injury was not a minor one for it required surgery, the agency and the movie production staff were put into an emergency situation in which they had to make sure of T.O.P’s condition and recovery as well as figure out the changes in schedule.

However, T.O.P is said to have been more concerned about the changes being made to the filming schedule because of him rather than the condition of his hand, and is insisting that he would like to carry on his scheduled filming. In addition, T.O.P has a fan event planned at his movie filming location on the 22nd (today), and is scheduled to embark on the ‘2012 Big Bang Alive Galaxy Tour‘ for the next 9 weeks starting next weekend.

As he has no problems moving around, he has insisted that he is able to go on with the fan meeting and the world tour. However, as his hand is expected to take 2 to 3 weeks to heal, it is expected that there may be some issues with filming for the movie for the time being.

YG Entertainment commented, “As one of the main characters, T.O.P is feeling burdened about the filming being postponed because of him, especially since the filming had to be halted earlier with the changing of directors… We will be discussing with his doctor to figure out a way for T.O.P to carry on his schedules without putting strain on his condition.”

The cast of KBS‘s new mini-series ‘Oohlala Couple‘ recently gathered for a ceremony to wish for the success of the drama. The event took place on September 19th at a set location located in Gyeonggi-do.

Director Lee Jung Sub, staff, and cast members Shin Hyun Joon, Kim Jung Eun, Jung Jae Soon, Juni, and more all gathered and prayed for the smooth filming and success for the new drama.

Actor Shin Hyun Joon brought laughter as he sincerely placed each money envelope he prepared onto the pig’s ears. JYJ’s Kim Jae-joong will take off on a fan meet tour next month. CJeS Entertainment announced yesterday that fueled by the popularity of “Time Slip Dr. Jin,” the singer-turned-actor will meet with fans in China on Oct. 21, Thailand on Oct. 23 and Indonesia on Nov. 3.

Korean actor Um Ki-joon has been tapped for the leading role in a new movie opposite actress Lee Si-young. Um’s agency Sidus HQ said in press release Thursday that Um and Lee paired up in the new movie “Story” [tentative title], scheduled to open in the latter half next year.

While Lee will portray a cartoonist Ji-yoon whose comic begins triggering mysterious murders, Um will depict a naive and unaffected detective named Gi-cheol in charge of the murder cases. The two stars have been filming the movie since August under the control of director Kim Yong-gyun of historic action pic “The Sword with No Name” (2009).

Um debuted as a stage actor in 1995 and has built a wide range of acting career, and further solidified his career after starring in SBS TV series “Phantom” this year with So Ji-sub and Lee Yeon-hee. SM C&C, an affiliate of SM Entertainment, has revealed on September 19 that they have merged with Jang Dong Gun’s company AM Entertainment.

Other actors known to be with AM Entertainment are Kim Ha Neul and Han Ji Min. They previously made an announcement that they’ve signed on Kang Ho Dong and Shin Dong Yub, two prominent MCs within the variety world, as well as variety stars Lee Soo Geun and Kim Byung Man. The CEO of SM C&C and also of SM Entertainment, Kim Young Min stated, “SM C&C has merged with AM Entertainment, who’s stars like Jang Dong Gun, Kim Ha Neul and Han Ji Min aren’t just local superstars, but representatives of Asia.

With the merge, we plan to greatly expand the acting management business and target the Asian region on a full-scale. Through SM’s vast global network, we will help actors under AM Entertainment along with our SM artists to go beyond Asia and become global stars who will be known throughout the world.”

 In other news, SM C&C is currently focused on producing Asian video contents like dramas and targeting acting management business.
