เมื่อวันที่ 14 มิถุนายนที่เรน (Rain) กลับมาเริ่มถ่ายทำละครเรื่องใหม่ของเขา Fugitive ทางตัวแทนของทีมโปรดักชั่นแจงว่า เฉินหลงที่ตั้งใจมาถ่ายในเรื่องนี้ด้วย แต่กลับมีปัญหาเรื่องตารางงานจึงทำให้ต้องยกเลิกกันไป แต่ยังมีรายงานออกมาก่อนว่าซุปเปอร์สตาร์เฉินหลงและเรนยังมีความสัมพันธ์ที่ดี

ในละครเรื่องใหม่ของเรน Fugitive ทางโปรดักชั่นกล่าวในวันที่ 14 มิถุนายนว่า นักแสดงชายเฉินหลงที่เป็นเพื่อนสนิทกับเรนวางแผนที่จะมาร่วมแสดงในละครเรื่องใหม่ Fugitive แต่เนื่องจากเขามีงานที่จะต้องโปรโมทที่ทางยุโรปปตามตารางงานโปรโมทภาพยนตร์เรื่อง Karate Kid ที่แสดงโดย Jaden Smith และเขา

ซึ่งเรื่อง Fugitive นั้นได้รับความสนใจอย่างมาก และรวมไปถึงตลาดต่างประเทศอีกด้วย โดยที่มีการวางตัวนักแสดงนำชายคือเรน ร่วมกับทีมงานโปรดักชั่นเรื่อง Chuno ที่ได้รับกระแสตอบรับอย่างมาก จะเป็นแนวแอ็คชั่นสายลับที่จะออกอากาศทางสถานี KBS เดือนตุลาคมนี้
