31 year old Ming Dao has been getting a lot of media attention lately as he has yet to fulfill his military duties. He was accepted to Chungyu Institute of Technology’s Media and Visual studies program in August.

The media reported that he did not attend school on the first day, which he clarified that it was because he didn’t have any classes. He showed up at school at 8:10am today, preparing to take director Lee You-Ning’s class, which runs from 8:30am to 12:00pm.

Ming Dao emphasized that he is not avoiding his military duties. In regards to the Ministry of Justice’s plan to update the military service policies, he expressed that he will wait for the final outcome and abide to the law.
