SBS' historical saga "Deep Rooted Tree" continued its reign as the top show on the Wednesday and Thursday lineup during the first week of December.
Figures by TNmS (Total National Multimedia Statistics) on Friday revealed that "Tree," starring Han Suk-kyu, Shin Se-gyeong and Jang Huk, raked in viewership ratings of 18.8 percent on November 30 which slipped by a slight 0.2 percentage points the following evening.
Data from AGB Nielsen Media Research showed that the series brought in high scores as well with viewership ratings of 21 percent on Wednesday and 20.8 percent on Thursday.
This week's episode showed how Lee Bang-ji (Woo Hyun) and Moo-hyol (Cho Jin-woong) are reunited and try to figure out each other's intentions towards Sejong (Han) and Chae-yoon (Jang).
In the meantime, KBS took came in second place once again with "Glory Jane," starring Park Min-young and Chun Jung-myung, with ratings swaying back and forth in the 12 to 14 percentile range on both charts.
The two media surveys revealed that MBC's "Flower, I Am" placed in the No. 3 spot with ratings in the six percent range.
