Jung Il-woo may hold a fan meeting in Japan soon, according to his agency fantagio on Friday.
A rep with fantagio told 10Asia that Jung will most likely visit Japan for a fan meeting after concluding his current TV series "The Moon Embracing the Sun.
"We have yet to set a final date though we are in discussions with Jung's agency in Japan since his other works '49 Days' and 'Cool Guys, Hot Ramen' are doing well in the country," the official explained.
Jung is currently playing the role of Yang Myung who is the older brother to Lee Hwon (played by actor Kim Soo-hyun) in MBC's TV series "The Moon Embracing the Sun." The series is also one of the most-watched dramas on the Wednesday and Thursday primetime lineup.
Jung rose to stardom in Korea and in the neighboring Asian countries after starring in MBC's sitcom "High Kick!" (2006-2007), "The Return of Iljimae" (2009), SBS' "49 Days" and tvN's "Cool Guys, Hot Ramen."
