บทละครโทรทัศน์เรื่องนี้เขียนโดย Noh Hee Kyung ซึ่งผลงานที่เคยทำชื่อเสียงให้เธอมาก่อนในปี 1999 ก็คือละครเรื่อง Did We Really Love (MBC, 1999) โดยมี Bae Yong Jun และ Kim Hye Soo เป็นนักแสดงนำในเรื่องดังกล่าว ... จนกระทั่งมาถึงปี 2008 Noh Hee Kyung ก็ได้แสดงฝีมือการเขียนบทละครแนว Melodrama อีกครั้ง ในเรื่อง The World That They Live In (KBS2, 2008) นับว่าฝีมือในการเขียนบทละครของเธอพัฒนาจากแนวละคร Drama มาเป็นแนว Romanace Melodrama ได้ดีทีเดียว

If Worlds Within(The World That They Live In)... don't on air clash with "East of Eden"
I think it can be high rating in Seoul...

Forget about its ratings in Korea. This is really good. It's very unconventional because it's not too mushy and melodramatic and as alecey pointed out - has a very realistic feel to it. It's also very insightful in how it compares real life and the dramas that we watch.

As an advertising writer, I really enjoyed how the production side of dramas was used to frame the story.They definitey captured the feel of being on a set.



Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo were also very good in acting as a couple. Typical critics may think that they lacked chemistry, but to borrow Bae Jung Ok's line in Episode 15,



I think that Hyun Bin and Song Hye Kyo simply didn't resort to "jjo" or cliched acting. They didn't need to overreact to show that they were in love. cry to show that they were sad, and didn't need to frown to show that they were in pain.

A fantastic and colorful supporting cast also makes this even more enjoyable. I especially love the character of Kim Yeo Jin as a drama scriptwriter.

So if you're a fan of dramas, "The World That They Live In" is a definite must to see!

Worlds Within : Synopsis

Broadcasting station, especially television drama production, is often called as the core of desire and materialism. TV station is the place of envy for many people, but they also criticize it as the place where unethical thoughts are generalized. However, those who work in drama production team are not different from us; they are common people who need love and care just like others.




Most of Korean dramas are focused on family problems and troubled relationships between lovers. However, for the moderners, workplace is where they spend most of their time. If one fails to build decent relationships with others in his workplace, it would be hard to read his life as a success. “Worlds Within” will bring out the stories of drama production staffs; the warm, touching stories of their love and life.
