Japan FM Meeting: JKS said he has a girlfriend :)

MC: From the last FM till now, how do you spend this one year?
JKS: I’ve led a university student’s life, made the Itaewon movie, and also completed the drama You’re Beautiful.
MC: Today’s topic, can you see, is Talk Show. There’s gonna be a video, pls. pay attention.

(video playing)

MC: Besides for FM, do you come to Japan often?
JKS: Ng.. I travel a lot. I’m planning to go to the hot spring in January. I really like hot spring, in order to rest.
MC: when you walk on the streets, what do you feel the difference between Japanese and Korean women? What’s the difference, speaking from their charm point of view.
JKS: just now it was mentioned too, even we’ve been separated for a year, Also the Japanese women’s eyes are very pretty. Not the shape, but the way they shine, their eyes expression is very pretty.
MC: Everyone.. quick.. stare at him with that eyes..

Sukkie made a round shape with his fingers and said.. he saw it..

MC: There are many Korean artists studying in college, we heard that there’s special treatment for these artists.
JKS: A lot of people think like that, but I’m studying at the only university where they will not give artists special treatment, because this is a very famous university. So attendance and exams are just the same with other students. This is also one of the reasons why I chose this university. I don’t like special treatment just because I’m an artist, so I chose this school.
MC: We’d really like to know your score result.
JKS (laugh): this semester I got 3.6 out of 4.5 (4.5 is the perfect score)
MC: According to Japan’s algorithm, if A+ is the perfect score, then your score is A.. really amazing.

Speaking of school, of course we have to talk about love. Campus couples in South Korea is also frequently used word. So how is it, is there any romantic atmosphere?
JKS: (laughing hard) there’s plenty of those couple, including my friends. I am also looking forward to and would like to love/date.

I’m not going ask any further, don’t worry everybody.

JKS: Let me tell you a secret.. actually I already have a girlfriend… here..

(pointing to the audience, using Japanese language), then he laughed out loud and stick out his tongue.

Regarding the movie Itaewon

MC: What a very difficult movie, the English lines…
JKS: that’s right, the lines are in English
MC: but you stayed overseas before right..
JKS: I went with my mom to New Zealand to study, studying abroad really help me a lot.
(sukkie speaks in English) Can you speak English?
MC: No.

Just now hearing the pronunciation of your sentence “Can you speak English”, I’m shaking. What to do.. I’d like to say Pardon.

Is there a big difference in acting using foreign language and using Korean language?

JKS: Using English lines, it’s harder to get into role. but as it progressed, using Korean feels a bit unnatural.
MC: The eyes expression is really amazing too.
JKS: yes, it’s the most powerful aspect.
MC: according to Korean calculation, 23 years old is still pretty young. What you want to do in the future, there are limitless possibilities. What do you want to challenge next?
JKS: I’d like to act as a young man falling in love an older woman.
MC points at the audience: there’s plenty here..
JKS: I’ve watched the Japanese version of Lovely Pets. There’s probably the Korean verson. If it’s true then I’d like to act in it.

(Video)
Travelling outside of Japan and South Korea experience. Introducing the travel diary to Spain in 2008.
(the pictures come with simple subtitles and music)

Things that I like: Car, Memo, coffee, music, family, black tea, camera, trust, travel, movies, people.
Things that I hate: Skinny body, games, pepper, lies, and specific people, manga, walking with hip sway, the sound of brake, salty hot food, people.

I like people, I also hate people.
So I don’t divide people whether they’re good or bad
Only those who exist and get along with me and those who do not get along with me.

MC: Do you like coffee?
JKS: Love it very much
MC: do you have any favorite coffee shop?
JKS: right now I only make coffee at home, fans sent me coffee from different countries. I’m really excited drinking this coffee.

You’re excited because you’re looking at the reflection in the coffee, right?

MC: it’s very obvious that you’re a broad minded person, but do you have anyone who you get along well and leave an impression? Someone you’d like to work together with, or what kind of people you don’t want to work with. Ever had that kind of moments?
JKS: when I am acting, I’m always focused on the eye part. During work, you can tell people’s heart by looking at their eyes, whether this person I only get to work with this person just this one time or not.. even though it’s not accurate, but through the eyes, you can get this trust.

(Video of Spain)

MC: What’s your most memorable impresson of spain?
JKS: there’s very few of Korean cuisine in Spain, very few Korean people, so I had to make it myself. I often agonize about what Korean dishes to cook.
MC: what did you cook?
JKS: Baked bread, and made a lot of food out of meat, as long as there’s sauce, there’s no problem.
MC: where are you planning to go next?
JKS: first of all go to the hot spring, I’m also thinking of going to tropical country, places where people rarely go to. There’s also one thing, I’d like to try out Japanese style Home stay, I think it’s very interesting.
MC pointed to the audience.. There’s plenty of candidates here.
JKS (in Japanese language): please help me.

MC: when travelling, the most indispensable thing is a bag
JKS: yes.
MC: what kind of bag do you like
JKS: I like bags that can fit a lot of stuff, big bag
MC: (speaking to the audience) did you hear it, he likes big bags
Sukkie laughing out loud :) but too big is also not good.

Introducing bags
The cosmetic bag was bought in Europe, inside there’s hair gel, and hand disinfectant, lotion, facial cleanser, toner. There ‘s also the little blue bag from the hotel, free of charge. MC said right away that how come it suddenly feels like poor people..

German cosmetics brand, Kiehl'S, also BB cream and perfume. I really like perfume. The book was sent by a Japanese fans, it’s a map, travel guides like bars, etc. Sukkie said, he like the word written on the cover, which is, I really like to drink.

The picture on the ID was 3 years ago. Not too much money in the wallet, Sukkie said he is used to receive pocket money.

There are two drawings in his journal.. the good one is his friend’s. the bad one is the one he drew himself (the one where he’s smoking), Sukkie said, his drawing is bad, don’t laugh.

Then he introduced his mp3, Korean’s most populaer song and dance. Then he introduced the video that won the silver prize. Sukkie said the short film’s meaning is someone left a beautiful memory with a camera has become someone who witnesses the beautiful of Seoul. He even won a money prize, which he blew away on drinking with his friends.

Finally he ended the event in the style of a DJ. He read his own letter for the fans.

Thank you everyone for coming here today, are you happy? In the preparation of this FM, we’re taking into account a lot of things, so we spend a happy time with everyone.

How can I convey to you my excitement. And the still young and immature me, what can I show you.Although today, the wonderful time spent with everyone will soon pass, but today, in this moment, me.. and everyone in this space, breathing the same air, I will always treasure it.

(Crying) I love you
