ประกาศผลหนังไทยที่ได้รับการคัดเลือกไปพบปะกับนายทุนที่ปูซานปีนี้แล้ว มีทั้งสิ้น 27 เรื่อง ซึ่งมีทั้งชื่อดัง ๆ อย่างไฉ่หมิงเหลียง อีเจยง อ๊อกไซด์ ปัง

ส่วนของไทยเป็นเรื่อง The White Room ของ อโนชา สุวิชากรพงษ์ แต่เป็นโปรเจ็คร่วมลงทุนนานาชาติ คือ ไทย อังกฤษ ญี่ปุ่น โดยมีญี่ปุ่นเป็นโปรดิวเซอร์ ทุนนี้เป็นทุนเดียวกับที่ อาทิตย์ อัสสรัตน์ เป็นเอก รัตนเรือง วิศิษฎ์ ศาสนเที่ยง เอกชัย เอื้อครองธรรม คงเดช จาตุรนต์รัศมี เคยได้ไป นอกจากจะได้พบปะนายทุนแล้ว ยังมีรางวัลอีกหลายทุน ซึ่งเราจะแจ้งให้ทราบอีกต่อไป

อโนชา สุวิชากรพงศ์ เคยเป็นผู้กำกับระดับนักเรียนที่ได้รับการกล่าวขวัญถึงในแวดวงหนังสั้น (และหนังโกอินเตอร์) ของไทย เพราะเธอเป็นคนสร้างประวัติศาสตร์ เป็นคนแรกที่มีหนังสั้นเข้าประกวดและร่วมฉายในสายภาพยนตร์นักเรียน หลังจากจบมัธยมศึกษาปีที่ 2 ได้ไปศึกษาต่อที่ประเทศอังกฤษจนจบปริญญาโท สาขาศิลปะและวัฒนธรรมศึกษา เมื่อต้นปีนี้อโนชาเพิ่งสำเร็จการศึกษาปริญญาโทสาขาภาพยนตร์จากสหรัฐอเมริกา โดยได้รับทุนจาก 'Hollywood Foreign Press Association' ระหว่างที่ศึกษาอยู่ บทหนังยาวเรื่อง 'The White Room' ของอโนชาเป็น 1 ใน 15 เรื่องที่ได้รับเลือกเข้าโครงการ 'Script Clinic' ด้วย

The Pusan International Film Festival (PIFF), Asia's largest film fest, has unveiled the line up of 27 projects selected for this year's Pusan Promotional Plan (PPP).

A mixture of Asia’s most established art-house directors and lesser known names make up the film-making talents behind the 27 film projects selected for this year’s Pusan Promotion Plan (10-13 Oct 2010).

Anocha Suwichakornpong

The line up of projects seeking finance and co-production partners includes the latest works by Tsai Ming-liang (The Diary of a Young Boy), E J-yong (Falling In Love), Ogigami Naoko (Suika and Kinoko) and Anocha Suwichakornpong (The White Room). There is also house room for The Psycho Virus by Danny Pang, the untitled project by Argentinian director Pablo Trapero and Red Coal, by Xie Fei, who won the 1993 Golden Bear in Berlin with The Woman from the Lake of Scented Souls (香魂女).

Organisers say they were impressed with the quality of projects proposed by returning PPP alumni and also by the quality of Korean projects, although here the volume proposed was down on last year.

The PPP will be held at the Seacloud Hotel, at Haeundae Beach in Pusan, the same venue as Pusan’s Asian Film market.
