Working on 10 different film projects has taken a toll Hong Kong actress Michelle Ye's health.
At a promotional event for her upcoming movie The Founding of a Party, Michelle was making a self-introduction and the character she played when she collapsed.
The staff quickly went to help the actress, who tried to stand up. However, Michelle fainted again minutes later. Chinese actor Liu Ye , her co-star, quickly carried her and brought her backstage to rest.
Backstage, the staff gave Michelle hot tea and chocolates to help her regain her strength.
When Michelle left, reporters asked the actress how she was feeling. She simply replied, "I'm all right."
Miss Quan, Michelle's manager in China was contacted after the event.
"[She] accepted too many jobs previously. She had been working very hard. She's feeling better now. She's very busy these days, maybe she's overworked. Her blood sugar level is very low today," Miss Quan said.
Michelle's manager in Hong Kong let on that the actress had taken on 10 filming projects in the past year, causing her health to deteriorate. She added that Michelle fainted because the actress did not have breakfast before the event.
