American daily newspaper Chicago Tribune focused on director Lee Young-mi's (45) movie "Secrets of Matter" through the article, "Korean film flips gender roles".
The Tribune commented, "This director's work sees through the mental conditions of the appearing characters and reveals the hidden inner sides. "Secrets of Matter" uncomfortably reflects the Korean society which lives a modernized material life but is still bound in the traditional way of marriage".
