Actor and singer Jang Keun Suk began his Asia fan event tour in late April and has since then visited Singapore and Hong Kong. The next stop on his fan event tour is Taiwan, and fans have shown their excitement as the Taiwan stop was sold out in approximately 30 minutes after the tickets went on sale.
"THE CRI SHOW" will be held in the gymnasium at the National Taiwan University in Taipei on June 26 2011. Jang Keun Suk's agency, Tree J. Company, announced that all 4,000 tickets for the Taipei show has been sold.
An official from his agency said, "We heard a lot of fans are requesting for additional shows in Taiwan so Jang and his staff are preparing for the upcoming event with a grateful and happy heart since it proves that his popularity is increasingly growing."
In addition to Taiwan, Jang Keun Suk will also stop by Thailand, Malaysia, and China.
Jang Keun Suk recently hit #1 on the Oricon Daily Chart with his Japanese debut single, "Let Me Cry," and became the first male singer in Oricon's 30 years to achieve this.
Jang Keun Suk shows his popularity prowess in Japan as his debut single can still be seen on the Oricon Weekly Chart. For the week of May 23rd, Jang Geunsuk falls to 8th place with 15,601 units sold. This however, is still quite an achievement as the rest of the top 10 for this week's charting were all released on May 11th.
