KBS2 new upcoming special drama single series “Princess Hwapyeong (Peace) Weight Loss Story” held their press conference today at a cafe located at Yeouido, Seoul, today. The main cast including Eugene, Ryu Seung Soo, Han Yoo Yi and Choi Dae Cheol attended the press conference together with the drama director, Song Hyun Ok. Eugene took on the role of “Princesss Hwapyeong” who has everything good except a flaw which is her obesity problem. Ryu Seung Soo took on the role as her personal trainer to help her reduce her excessive weight inside the drama.
Ahead of her marriage on 23rd July, Eugene has expressed at the press conference, “While preparing for the role, the makeup takes around 4 hours and this has brought me skin problem along.”, “I have to emphasis on skin care before the marriage.” She added on, “Nevertheless, I have enjoyed really the filming of the drama.”
“Princess Hwapyeong (Peace) Weight Loss Story“ was aired on 26th June 2011 KBS2TV, this drama get ratind 8.2%.
“Princess Hwapyeong (Peace) Weight Loss Story“ KBS2 TV's special drama, set in the Baekje era, this is the comedic chronicle of Princess Hwapyung's efforts to change herself and become a beautiful lady through dieting. Princess Hwapyung is the youngest daughter of the late king and sister of the current king, possessing both wisdom and kindness. Her only flaw is her exccessive body size.
She is dealt a cruel shock on her wedding night when she was cast aside by her husband, who preferred her beautiful lady-in-waiting, Hong Dan. The humiliation is the last straw for Princess Hwapyung's self-esteem; with the help of a mystery man, she is determined to lose weight and become a new person!
