Kim Hyun Joo has gone under dispute with her management company.
Kim Hyun Joo’s management, The H Entertainment stated that “Kim Hyun Joo unilaterally canceled her contract in the middle of June” and they have filed a claim to the Seoul Southern District Court for approximately $274,000 USD.
The H Entertainment wrote in the complaint, “we started off as a manager and actress in 2005 and the relationship lead to a partnership starting from November of 2009. However, problems between us arose while balancing contracting fees for MBC’s “Shiny Shiny Shining”, and Kim Hyun Joo notified us of unilaterally canceling her contract with us around the middle June. In ending our partnership, we request approximately $274,000 USD of which she exceedingly received from total profits”.
In related news, Kim Hyun Joo has been gaining much popularity after she returned to her acting career after a year and 6 months, through MBC’s “Shiny Shiny Shining”.
