Koo Hye-sun is considering appearing in a TV series set to premiere in late-December, according to her agency.

An official with her agency YG Entertainment told 10Asia on Friday that Koo has been offered the female lead role in a series titled"Fly Again" (translated title) and is "looking into the drama" although she has yet to make up her mind.

Her decision is likely to come after she wraps up filming of a drama named "Absolute Boyfriend" in Taiwan co-starring Taiwanese singer-actor Jiro Wang of idol group Fahrenheit.

"Fly Again," about a man who tries to become a pilot, is in the stages of casting a main male and female lead.

The show is set to go on air after SBS historical drama “A Tree with Deep Roots” (translated title), starring Han Suk-kyu, Jang Hyuk and Sin Se-gyeong, ends its 24-part run starting September 28.

Koo , who made her debut through a TV commercial in 2002, rose to stardom in Korea and throughout Asia after starring in the mega-hit series "Boys Over Flowers" in 2009.

She also made her directorial debut in 2008 with the short feature "The Madonna" which was invited to numerous film festivals and pursues careers as a singer-songwriter, artist, novelist and scriptwriter.

Koo has been filming her second full-length feature "Peach Tree" since spring and is set to appear in a TV series named "The Musical," in which she will play a medical student who dreams of becoming a musical actress.
