Hallyu star Jang Keun-suk will release an album in the Greater China region today, further expanding his singing career overseas.
On Wednesday, his agency Tree J. Company announced in a press release that Jang's first EP album "The Lounge H vol. 1," featuring rap by Big Brother, will go on sale in the Greater China region and Southeast Asia today.
"The Lounge H vol. 1," which received 65,000 preorders, is composed of four songs including the title track "Gotta Getcha," "Shake It," "Run Away" and "Victory" as well as a music video and special behind-the-scene footage.
Jang, appeared in a number of films and dramas after debuting at the young age of five as a catalog model.
He then rose to stardom throughout the region after starring in "He's Beautiful" (SBS, 2009) and has actively promoted himself in various ways including leading a singing career in Japan which has been met with success as well.
Jang recently promoted his upcoming film "You Are My Pet" at the ongoing 16th Busan International Film Festival (BIFF) with Kim Ha-neul and shooting new TV series "Love Rain" (tentative title) alongside Girls' Generation member Yoona.
