Korean entertainer Jang Keun-suk used his YouTube channel to send a fond New Year’s greeting to his fans worldwide in 12 languages on Dec. 29.
The star, who is affectionately called “The Prince of Asia,” extended greetings to fans in Thailand, Japan, China, Italy and France among many other nations in the countries’ native languages.
The fans were delighted by his efforts and quick to comment, “I love you,” “Happy New Year” and “I am looking forward to what you’ll be doing this year,” among many other responses.
He also said in the video that last year went by far too quickly. “Not only did this year whizz on by, it was a year that shaped me and therefore a significant year in my life,” he said.
Referring to his busy schedule going back and forth between Korea and Japan, Jang said, “In the past year, I worked hard, and I feel proud of what I’ve accomplished, although it was crazy at times. 2012 marks the 20th year of my debut, and I’m looking forward to the new year.”
