Korean actress Ha Ji-won and actor Yoon Sang-hyun will promote their popular TV series "Secret Garden" in Japan, according to their agencies on Monday.
Ha and Yoon will stay in the country till today to meet with fans and local media outlets for interviews, in a bid to promote their SBS drama "Secret Garden" which will begin its run on NHK BS Premium channel starting April 5.
"Secret Garden" is a romantic fantasy about two strangers (played by Hyun Bin and Ha Ji-won) who falls in love after a series of accidental "soul switch," where the two people's soul or mind leave their own body and inhabits the other person's body.
The show, which ran for two months starting November 2010, has brought in viewership ratings in the 30 percent mark and garnered much popularity regarding the actors' fashion, catchphrases and soundtracks.
The TV series has also been sold to United States and 12 countries in Asia including Japan, Taiwan, Hong Kong, the Philippines, Thailand, Malaysia, Singapore, Vietnam, Indonesia, Myanmar and Cambodia.
