Popular actor Kim Soo Hyun has been appointed as the promotional ambassador for Korean tourism by the Korean Tourism Organization.
The Korean Tourism Organization (KTO) revealed, “The appointment of Kim Soo Hyun, who has obtained popularity overseas through his dramas, as the honorary promotional ambassador of Korean tourism will help strengthen the growth of travel to Korea.”
According to KTO, ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun‘, which starred Kim Soo Hyun as the lead, has been exported to seven countries throughout Asia including Japan, China (Hong Kong), and Singapore, and has received over 100,000 views on China’s online video site, PPTV.
With his exceptional acting skills shown through hit dramas such as ‘Giant’, ‘Dream High’, and ‘The Moon that Embraces the Sun’, Kim Soo Hyun has established himself as one of the hottest rising actors.
Kim Soo Hyun’s initiation ceremony for KTO ambassador will take place on April 18th at KTO’s theater.
