Lee Jun-gi is about to bring his TV series to Japan himself by attending the drama's press conference this month.
Lee is scheduled to take part in promoting MBC "Tale of Arang" in Tokyo, Japan on October 19, according to the broadcaster's press release sent Thursday.
The press conference is a sub-program of "2012 K-FOOD & MBC Drama Festival" being held for three days from October 19. The officials said it will also open a photo exhibition and an event to try out the traditional costumes worn by the characters in "Tale of Arang."
Now into the 18th episode, the 20-part fantasy drama has been receiving moderate ratings between 12 and 15 percent, every Wednesday and Thursday since kicking off the run on August 15.
As the follow-up to the show, "Missing You" [translated title] will hit the airwaves in November. The forthcoming series features actor Yeo Jin-gu and actress Kim So-hyun of MBC's "The Moon Embracing the Sun" (2012).
