Goo Hye Sun‘s second feature-length film “Peach Tree” has been invited to the 31st annual Brussels International Fantastic Film Festival (BIFFF) in April 2013. BIFFF is one of the world’s leading fantastic film festivals along with Spain’s Sitges International Fantastic Film Festival and Portugal’s FantasPorto Oporto International Film Festival. Next year’s BIFFF will be at Belgium’s Palais Des Beaux Arts from April 2 to April 13.

“Peach Tree” is Goo Hye Sun’s second feature film after her debut feature, “Magic.” The film portrays a story about siam twins who has never encountered the world for 30 years. Jo Seung Woo, Ryu Duk Hwan, and Nam Sang Mi are starring in the movie.

Previously, Goo Hye Sun garnered much attention for winning awards at Busan International Short Film Festival and Japan’s Short Shorts Film Festival & Asia with her debut short film “The Madonna.” With “Magic,” she was invited to and nominated for the 23rd annual Tokyo International Film Festival in Asian Films category. With her granted invitation to BIFFF, Goo Hye Sun proved her potential in the international film market as a director once again.

She did not only direct the film “Peach Tree,” but also wrote the movie’s main soundtrack and published a novelized of the film, written from a different perspective than the one in the film. She is currently spending her busy days promoting “Peach Tree.”

A movie about a pair of Siam twins directed by Goo Hye Sun, Ryu Duk Hwan and Jo Seung Woo as the twins and Nam Sang-mi as the woman who is loved by the two of them.

Even though actress-director Goo Hye Sun's debut feature film "Magic" was not so successful as expected, her second feature is a compelling look into the lives of Siamese twin bothers. In addition to noteworthy performances by audience favorites Jo Seung Woo and Ryu Duk Hwan, the film also boasts a fascinating narrative structure and a powerful dramatic flow. Nam Sang Mi gives a standout performance as well.
