While the KBS drama “Jeon Woochi” has stayed strong atop the Wednesday and Thursday primetime ratings chart, the MBC series “Missing You” has ended its 21-episode run.

Historical fantasy drama “Jeon Woochi” topped the chart with an average rating of 15.2 percent during the week of January 16 and 17, according to data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] Friday.

The 24-episode drama, starring Cha Tae-hyun and After School member U-ie, comically portrays a rivalry between two Taoist magicians.

Meanwhile, “Missing You” ranked at No. 2 for four weeks in a row with 12.1 percent of the total viewers during the same period.

The melodrama has come to a happy ending where Jung-woo and Soo-yeon, played by JYJ`s Park Yuchun and Yoon Eun-hye, have a wedding.

To fill up the hole in the Wednesday and Thursday primetime slot, MBC will broadcast “7th Grade Civil Servant” from January 23.

The upcoming series, starring actor Joo Won, Choi Kang-hee and 2PM’s Chansung, will depict young secret agents’ relationships and conflict in the National Intelligence Service.

Sitting in the last position this week was the SBS period-set drama “The Great Seer," which earned the support of just 11.0 percent.

Nielsen Korea showed same orders of the three dramas but slightly different figures from those of TNmS’ during the third week of January.

While “Jeon Woochi” dominated the chart with 13.9 percent, “Missing You” and “The Great Seer” followed next with 11.1 and 9.8 percent, respectively.
