BYJ Admires HCB (Henri Cartier Bresson)

Dear Roytavan and TWSSG Team & family,

I would like to share with you a post which I wrote in KOB a few months ago. It is about a Photographer that BYJ admires.

สวัสดีค่ะ Roytavan และทีมงาน TWSSG และครอบครัว

ฉันอยากจะแบ่งปันข้อความที่ฉันเคยโพสท์ไว้ใน KOB เมื่อ 2-3 เดือนก่อน มันเกี่ยวกับช่างภาพที่เบยองจุนชื่นชอบ

A Famous person once said :

ครั้งหนึ่ง..บุคคลผู้มีชื่อเสียงผู้หนึ่ง กล่าวว่า :

For me the camera is a sketch book, an instrument of intuition and spontaneity, the master of the instant which, in visual terms, questions and decides simultaneously.

สำหรับผม กล้องถ่ายรูปคือ สมุดสเก็ตภาพ เป็นอุปกรณ์เพื่อความเข้าใจในสรรพสิ่งและความเป็นธรรมชาติ การกดชัตเตอร์ของนักวาดภาพในทันที ในการมองเห็น คำถาม
และการตัดสินใจไปพร้อม ๆ กัน

In order to “give a meaning” to the world, one has to feel involved in what one have frames through the viewfinder. This attitude requires concentration, discipline of mind, sensitivity, and a sense of geometry. It is by economy of means that one arrives at simplicity of expression.

เพื่อ “มอบความหมาย” ต่อโลก ใครคนหนึ่งต้องมีความรู้สึกเกี่ยวข้องในสิ่งหนึ่ง
ซึ่งมีกรอบหลายแบบผ่านกล้องถ่ายรูป ทัศนคติเช่นนี้ต้องการสมาธิ จิตใจที่มีวินัย ความละเอียดอ่อน และความเข้าใจในรูปทรง จำกัดความได้ว่าคนคนนั้นมาถึงจุดแห่งการแสดงออกอันเรียบง่าย


To take a photograph is to hold one’s breath when all faculties converge in a face of fleeing reality. It is at that moment that mastering an image becomes a great physical and intellectual joy.

การถ่ายภาพคือการหยุดลมหายใจของคน ๆ หนึ่ง
เมื่อร่างกายและจิตใจมาบรรจบกัน ในการเผชิญกับความจริงซึ่งหลบเร้น นั่นคือเวลาของภาพชิ้นเอก
กลายเป็นความสุขทางปัญญาและทางกายอันยิ่งใหญ่

To take a photograph means to recognize – simultaneously and within a fraction of a second– both the fact itself and the rigorous organization of visually perceived forms that give it meaning. It is putting one’s head, one’s eye, and one’s heart on the same axis.

การถ่ายภาพหมายถึงการเห็นคุณค่า – ไปพร้อมๆ กัน
และภายในชั่วเสี้ยววินาที- ด้วยความจริงทั้งสองอย่าง และองค์ประกอบของรูปทรงในภาพที่เห็นนั้นก่อให้เกิดความหมาย
นั้นคือการใส่ปัญญา ทัศนคติ และจิตใจลงในชัตเตอร์เดียว

BYJ, I read that you admire this person very much,I wondered why,So I went on a quest to find and view his work,and I fell in love...I totally forgot why I was there...the photographs are awesome. No wonder you admire him.

เบยองจุน, ฉันอ่านพบว่าคุณชื่นชมคนๆ นี้มาก

ฉันสงสัยว่าเพราะอะไร
ดังนั้นฉันจึงออกไปค้นหาเพื่อรู้และดูผลงานของเขา
และฉันก็ตกหลุมรักในผลงานของเขา....
ฉันลืมไปเลยว่าทำไมฉันไปที่นั่น....
ภาพถ่ายที่ยอดเยี่ยม ไม่สงสัยอีกเลยว่าทำไมคุณชื่นชอบเขา

BYJ and family, when I was small my father really liked to take pictures and developed the black n' white pictures himself. He insisted that one of the bedroom in our house should be his"dark room". My mom grudgingly bought some thick plastic sleeping bags and made them into curtains...the room got very dark then . Every time he worked there I was his assistant. I felt very important, it was really great ,he explained the process and I got to do some things.

เบยองจุน และครอบครัวคะ
เมื่อฉันยังเด็ก คุณพ่อของฉันชอบถ่ายรูปมากจริงๆ และทำภาพขาวดำด้วยตัวเอง พ่อยืนกรานว่าห้องนอนห้องหนึ่งในบ้านของเราควรจะเป็น “ห้องมืด” ของพ่อ คุณแม่ของฉันจำใจต้องซื้อถุงนอนพลาสติกหนา และทำให้มันเป็นม่าน....
ห้องจึงมึดมาก ทุกครั้งที่พ่อทำงานในนั้น ฉันคือผู้ช่วยของพ่อ
ฉันรู้สึกเป็นคนสำคัญ มันเยี่ยมมากค่ะ พ่อจะอธิบายขั้นตอนต่าง ๆ และฉันก็จะได้ทำอะไรบางอย่าง

The room was dark,only a small dark colored bulb shining,making our faces look wierd.I immersed the photo paper in the developing liquid.....and...waited for the MAGIC to happen ...slowly...slowly ...little dark dots began to appear on the white paper...getting faster now....more black dots began to group together...as they began to form recognizable features of my family, my friends and my dog ! I will never forget that magic.

ห้องมืด มีเพียงหลอดไฟเล็กสีดำส่องแสง
ฉันจุ่มกระดาษอัดรูปลงในน้ำยาขึ้นรูป และรอคอยสิ่งมหัศจรรย์เกิดขึ้น...
อย่างช้าๆ ช้าๆ
จุดสีดำเล็กๆ เริ่มปรากฎในกระดาษสีขาว....ตอนนี้เร็วขึ้น...
จุดสีดำเกิดมากขึ้นเริ่มรวมตัวกัน
เหมือนพวกเขาเริ่มก่อตัวจนเกิดมองเห็นลักษณะอย่างชัดเจน
จนเป็นครอบครัวของฉัน เพื่อนของฉัน และสุนัขของฉัน!
ฉันไม่เคยลืมความมหัศจรรย์นั้นเลย
