6月1日午後2時に始まる「ドラマ『太王四神記』プレミアムイベント2008 in Japan」に参加するため、京セラドーム大阪には約3万5000人が集まった。

イベント開始4時間前の午前10時からドーム前の広場はペ・ヨンジュンに会いに来たファンでごった返した。また、ペ・ヨンジュン関連グッズを販売するブースには長蛇の列が作られた。

イベントの2時間前に開場となり、入場は開始前までにスムーズに完了した。予定時刻を20分ほど過ぎ、ファンが息を詰めてペ・ヨンジュンの登場を待つ中、ついに開始を告げるブザーが鳴った。ステージがライトアップされると、「太王四神記」の出演者、オ・グァンロク、ムン・ソリ、パク・ソンウン、イ・ジア、イ・フィリップが劇中の衣装を着て登場。そして鎧を着たタムドクに扮（ふん）したペ・ヨンジュンが姿を見せた。

イベントが行われた約2時間半、最初から最後までファンにその姿を見せたペ・ヨンジュンからは、今後の予定についてもサプライズ発言が飛び出した。日本の漫画が原作であるドラマへの出演を検討中で、近いうちにファンと再会できると、ファンにはうれしいニュースを告げた。

イベントにはドラマの演出を手がけたキム・ジョンハク監督も参加し、ペ・ヨンジュンにまつわるエピソードを披露した。また、久石譲と80人編成の大阪センチュリー交響楽団が「太王四神記」のメインテーマを演奏。クライマックスにはステージカーに乗ったペ・ヨンジュンをはじめとする出演者が場内を周り、ファンと間近に接する時間も設けられた。名残惜しさの中、約2時間半のイベントは幕を閉じた。 Event director of the drama, produced and directed by Kim Jong Huk participated in the episode surrounding Bae Yong Joon market.
