Q1 What snack did he often eat as a child?

Answer: Banana Kick
Banana Kick is a popular banana flavored snack in Korea.
There is the amusing episode where BYJ, after copying a scene on TV,
bought Banana Kick and a plastic model kit on credit
and received a severe scolding from his mother.

Q2 What is his favorite food?

Answer: kimchi chigae, sweet and sour pork
As BYJ has no food preferences, he eats all types of foods.
For diet purposes, it’s said that he often eats chung kuk jang
(natto flavored healthy chigae)

Q3 What is his favorite type of kimchi?

Answer: water kimchi
BYJ says that he does not like spicy foods.
This is his favorite food,
so much so that he included it on the Gosireh course menu.

Q4 What is his favorite sushi?

Answer: maguro (tuna)
For health reasons, BYJ prefers simple cuisine rather than greasy food
and loves sushi among Japanese food.

Q5 Does Yonsama, the wine lover, prefer red or white wine?

Answer: red wine
BYJ loves wine so much that he has said it is his dream to create his own wine.
He is often seen at a Seoul wine shop with a clientele of entertainers.
While there’s been news he was seen purchasing Chateau La Forgeau 2004!?...
We’d absolutely like to see him elegantly raise a wine glass in Kami no Shizuku.

Q6 What is the tea he loves to drink?

Answer: five spice tea
At first glance, it is a pretty pink color
and just as its name,
it is an amazing blend of sweet, spicy, sour, citric, salty, and bitter flavors.
Five spice tea is a healthy tea good for the respiratory system
and there are many people that drink this as a cold preventative.

Q7 What coffee does he always drink?

Answer: Fratello
It is said to drink this Canadian brand even at home.
You can enjoy this coffee at the BYJ museum Park BOF
so why not pay a visit?

Q8 What brand of cigarettes does he smoke?

Answer: Dunhill
He is not a heavy smoker but during the filming of the movie AS,
it was said that there were times he was smoking four packs a day.

and is a professional in being able to develop prints in the darkroom.

Director, Sergio Leone’s movie about the mob was released in 1984.
Even now, this movie is loved by film industry people like Quentin Tarantino.

Answer: Henri Cartier Bresson
He was one of the founders of the international photo agency, Magnum Photo,
and a photographer that mainly told stories through his photos.
Because of his influence,
BYJ always takes his camera with him to film sites.

Q15 Who is his favorite artist?

Answer: Rembrandt
He was a famous artist from the 17th century
who created oil paintings such as Night Watch.
There are many works that have a storytelling element to them
while stimulating the viewers’ imagination.

Q16 What is his favorite Japanese author?

Answer: Murakami Haruki
Popular authors in Korea are Murakami Haruki, Yoshimoto Banana,
and Murakami Ryu.
Also, novels by Eguni Kaori and Tendo Makoto are widely read by young people.

BYJ is also spellbound with these two noted actors.
