Under his reign, the territory of the kingdom was expanded to Manchuria, which currently belongs to China.

Produced by Kimjonghak Production and Chungam Entertainment with the total budget estimated at 25-30 billion won, 'Taewang-sasingi', the fantasy epic series, is planned to start shooting in upcoming September and be aired in September next year (2006).
