Bae Yong Joon is blowing the Hallyu wind once again. His travel essay book has expanded to China following Japan. Let’s take a look.
Bae Yong Joon released the essay book that introduces the beauty of Korea last September. Within three months, about 65,000 copies sold in Korea, and 60,000 copies sold in Japan. It has been known that there was about 5 billion won profits including the sold-out travel packages related to the book.
This book has been published more than a year ago, but it is still receiving good response at the big book store as a steady seller. Thanks to those good sells, the Taiwanese version was published last week, and the Chinese version was published this time.
His agent said that there won’t be a problem selling 100,000 copies, which is the best seller number in China. He added that this book will be the catalyst for the tour and culture exchange between Korea and China.
Followed by the Chinese version, the English version will soon be released.
