[Story Review] Mary Stayed Out All Night - Ep.16 (End)

It starts with MG asking her to choose between him and J

after he leaves, Mary just sits there crying

he doesnt look back even once

she gets a call from JS

J woke up

–

Mary goes in to see J

J asks his dad to leave the room so he can talk to Mary

mary asks him if he is okay

–

MG looks around this room and starts to pack up her her stuff

he takes down the curtain himself

That is not NOT how i asked -crap – minus one

J tells JS he has something to say

he asks if he really has to do this marriage

JS says [??? missed it]

J says he really loves Mary

so he wants mary to be happy

if she marries J like this

she will never be happy

J says JS loved someone else than his mom all his life

(he whispered some so I didnt catch the rest – will clear it up later)

J asks JS to think over the marraige one more time

–

Mary goes to MG says this is my answer you dummie

he drops the box he was holding and hugs her

he thanks her as he touches her hair

he wishes her a belated xmas

he gets a call

J wants him to come to the hospital cuz it has to do with mary

and he’ll wait till MG comes

JS calls D and says J woke up

JS still wants to go thru with the marriage

and he tells D to tell Mary

D thinks JS is rushing it too much




J says he is thinking of doing the marriage

whether MG believe him or not

he wanted to tell him man to man

J says MG will know why soon after MG leaves

–

Mary is unpacking her stuff and D calls

she lies she is with her friend

D guesses she is at MG’s house

she asks to stay a little later

D says he has to discuss marriage with her

Mary says they need to think about J and his condition

she doesnt protest so D is surprised

she says there is no need since they are pushing it

D tells her again he thinks of her happiness as the most important




mary texts MG and says she has something to say

he asks why she is texting instead of calling

instead of calling she thinks it will be easier this way

he asks what it is

she asks for time

she needs to do something with J

she asks MG to trust her

MG asks her to meet somewhere at a certain time and day

she says she will be there and to wait for her

mary is getting her hair and makeup done with J

her phone and purse are moved away from her

the makeup artist asks why mary looks sad on her wedding day

MG is walking in the snow to the playground where mary first asking him to do the fake marriage

and he remembers that and smiles

—–

J and JS’s side has lots of guests

but D has no one greeting him hardly

S congrats J on his wedding

MG sets up to play in the snow on the playground in the snow

he gets a text from Mary

mary says to wait a little bit and she will go find him there

mary is sitting there dressed

D tries to offer a drink but she wont take it

he thinks it is odd her friends are not there

he starts to cry and says to his wife :you are watching right?

the helper woman takes their pics

S calls the drummer

and says she is at the wedding and wonders why no one is coming

the drummer thinks she is kidding

she tells him she is at the wedding right now

MG is playing in the snow and singing

there is a huge crowd listening -where did they all come from?

–

as soon as he finishes the band and friends come over

they are upset mary didnt even tell them she was getting married

MG cant believe it

they urge MG to go stop the wedding

and he hands over his guitar and goes

–

the staff come in and tell mary it is time

MG is running thru the streets and calls mary as he runs

she gets up to go in and her phone rings

she has already gone in

J starts to walk in

then Mary comes in with D

everyone claps

D doesnt look happy

he cries as he gives mary to J

MG comes in and sees mary and J at the altar

he looks like he is in shock and cries

he leaves

the band and friends come in

they ask what happened

they wonder if the wedding is over

the minister is at the part where he asks if J will always love mary

J says yes after a long pause

he continues but I cant do this marriage

everyone starts to talk

J explains that this marriage was a promise made a long time ago

and that mary and J cant do this thru that promise

Mary says we will choose who we want

D is upset so she apologizes to him

J and Mary walk out together

Mary changes and comes out to J

he asks if she is ok

she asks if he is

she gets a call from her friend

her friends yell at her for hiding it from them

they tell her MG was here was upset

if she runs she can catch him

she tells J she needs to go and will call him later

–

MG comes home

he is still crying

he pulls out the cat pendant

he gets a call from mary but doesnt answer

Mary narrates “dont give up on me please”

she tells the taxi driver to hurry

she gets out and runs

–

S comes looking for MG

he is in bed sleeping

she asks if he is okay

he tells her to leave

she says if you had stayed you would have been amused

she tells him they ran off

they said they couldnt get married

and stamped their divorce certificate

he starts to run in the snow

he narrates for mary to wait for him

J shows up at JS

JS tells him to never show up again in front of him

J said this was the only way for JS to give up

tho J loves mary he couldnt marry someone that was the daughter the woman his father once loved

D hears all this and asks what this is

D says you loved my wife so you tried to get mary married off to your son?

JS tries to explain




MG shows up at the playground

she says what took him so long

she came back after settling everything with J

and MG wasnt here so she was scared

he said it wasnt that he couldnt trust her he couldnt trust himself

he hugs her and says he is sorry

Mg takes her home and gives her something hot to drink

she has something to confess

there is something she didnt tell him about the wedding today

–

back to scene in hospital when J is lying down in bed still

she brought what J asked for

think it was divorce papers

she says she can be brave and do this cuz it is for the sake of her future

MG remembers what J had said to him

Mary tells MG not to dislike J so much

MG asks her to close her eyes

she says are you going to play around again?

she closes her eyes

he pulls out the cat

he tells her he was going to give it to her for xmas

she kisses him on the cheek and says it is pretty

they look at his cat pendant

J comes home and there are movers

the housekeeper packed his bag for him

she asks him to beg JS for forgiveness

cuz JS is disowning him

he asks her to take care of his father for him

J talks to his staff

they say they will trust J

Mary gets a call from J

she meets him

she says she is glad to go back to the beginning

he says he wondered what would have happened if they had met naturally on their own

he says she suffered a lot all this time

she thanks him and leaves

(when did it snow this much)

–

D is still upset

mary asks are you never going to see me

look at me

D says he doesnt want to see her face

she tells him she couldnt help it

he says it is his fault

he should have known when JS kept pushing for the marriage

D says JS is too much doing that to his son

mary asks did something bad happen to J?

–

MGgets a call from Mary and he asks why she didnt wake him

mary says something bad happened to J

MG says are you worried about your first husband to me?

he says he will try to figure out what to do about J

Mary says she has to take care of her dad cuz he is ill and willl go later

—

J is trying to sleep in his office but it is uncomfortable on the sofa

his assitant guy comes in and asks if J he didnt leave yet

he pretends he stayed cuz he had work to do

–

J goes to MG and says he is staying with MG

he mentions work and stuff

and asks for food

MG tells him to sleep on the sofa

J said it has to be the bed

MG says there is only one bed

J says then let’s put up the curtain

MG tells him to follow his rules since it is his house

MG makes J sleep on the sofa

MG says he is paying back for what J did giving mary the divorce

J says he didnt send mary and that there are a few days till the divorce is finalized

J complains about the bus car and they fight about work and what to eat

and they pull up to the KBS building where 1N2 day is filmed

MG tells J to prepare thicker clothes cuz MG cant handle the cold

Mg goes in and gets mobbed by fans

J acts as bodyguard and ushers MG in

on the way back MG falls asleep and leans on J’s shoulder and when MG realizes he gets peeved

mary is there waiting and apologizes about J’s situation

Jsaid she looks good and Mary says J looks well too

she asks what J is doing here and he explains he is staying there

they invite him to eat with them

S points out if J really loved mary shouldnt he have held on to her

he says something about his dad and loyalty

–

Mary watches MG on tv and thinks he looks thin so she decides to feed him well

J is there too and all three eat together

she gives MG something and MG gives it to J and J tries to give him kimchi but Mg says he doesnt like it and then J pours salt all over MG’s food

J gets a call and he looks like he is in shock

wonderful day got somethin-maybe an airdate - dont know that word but it is something good cuz they are all happy

J thanks MG and they shake hands

J and Mary get their divorce finalized

the band and her friends are waiting at MG’s place

like a surprise party

they hide but it is S

then Mary and J come in and everyone sings congrats for your divorce

they blow out candles

a couple is being interviewd

the girl says something and her boyfriend says this is all cuz of the drama

they fight cuz she thinks he wont marry her and the boyfriend says did i say i wont i said not now

mary was filming them

about happy ending – she is asking ppl about it so she is busy

she runs into J

she was working on a script

J came to tell her that JS is doing well and wanted J tell mary JS wished her well

some guy comes over and asks mary who J is and she tells him J is her first husband

the guy says he likes her anyway even if she had been married before

mary narrates:

12 time we separated and got together at????

if anything changed

their home is too hot

she says it was better when this house was cold cuz they could stick together

MG comes over to the couch to cuddle

S is doing something in casting

Mary and MG walk along the street and he kisses her on the cheek

and totally missed her last line- something about music and starting
