Hallyu star Lee Byung-hun will hold a series of fan meetings in Japan this December, according to his agency BH Entertainment.
BH announced in a press release today that Lee's meet-and-greet titled "Lee Byung-hun on Stage 2011" will take place in three major cities in Japan and accommodate a total 60,000 fans in late December.
The statement went onto explain that the upcoming fan event will be hosted by famed Japanese musical actor Imamura Nezumi.
"We are still in the process of finalizing the dates and locations for Lee's fan meeting," an official from BH told 10Asia over the phone, adding that they will make the announcement at a later time.
In 2006, Lee became the first Korean celebrity to have attracted some 50,000 fans to his fan meeting at the Tokyo Dome and has since visited the country on various occasions.
Lee is currently in the United States shooting the sequel to blockbuster movie "G.I. Joe: The Rise of the Cobra" scheduled to open in theaters in the summer of 2012.
