On August 24th, AKB48’s Maeda Atsuko, Oshima Yuko, and Korean actor Jang Keun Suk attended a product launch event for aesthetic brand TBC.

Standing in between the two girls, Jang blushed as he said, “They’re very cute. I’m quite embarrassed to be in between them. Fans of AKB48, I’m sorry.” Meanwhile, Maeda and Oshima complimented him saying, “He’s tall, and he has a nice personality, ” and “He’s friendly, and he has a very handsome appearance. It’s actually the other way around, I apologize to his fans.”

In the past, Kimura Takuya, David Beckham, Victoria Beckham, and Nakata Hidetoshi were chosen as the brand’s character. Maeda, who says she received beauty care before the conference, said, “When I touch my skin, the softness is amazing.” Oshima also commented, “My face has brightened up one tone,” and expressed her mature look with, “We’ve never has this kind of image before, so I’m embarrassed.”

While Jang rushed to the event on a private jet from Osaka, he envied the two saying, “I wanted to receive beauty care today.” Then he smiled and said, “I will do my best as a forefront for Korean and Japanese men to become handsome.”

The main image billboard that will be displayed in 200 places nationwide starting August 25th was presented at the event. Seeing this, Maeda commented, “I didn’t think it would look this mature, so I’m happy.” Meanwhile, Jang joked, “If this goes up, I won’t be able to do my shuffle dance in Shibuya.”

TBC’s new CM will broadcast starting September 7th. With the theme, “open your beauty“, the three will uncover their mysterious adult charms.
