Seo Woo has been cast in a weekend series opposite veteran actress Ko Doo-shim.
Seo Woo's agency Sim Entertainment told 10Asia over the phone on Thursday that the actress and Ko will play daughter and mother in the SBS series titled "When Tomorrow Comes."
The show, which will premiere on October 29 after current series "Beside Me," will revolve around the love of this mother and daughter.
"She decided to appear in the drama because her character will be cheerful and she liked that she'll get to appear in a project with Ko," the official explained.
Seo Woo made her film debut in the 2008 film "Crush & Blush", for which she won Best New Actress from several Korean film awards.
She has also appeared in critically acclaimed films "Paju" (2009) with Lee Sun-kyun and "The Housemaid" (2010) starring Jeon Do-youn.
Her latest TV roles include "Sister of Cinderella" (KBS, 2010) with Moon Geun-young and "Flames of Desire" (MBC, 2011) with Yoo Seung-ho.
