KBS is set to air a documentary featuring Korean actor and singer Jang Keunsuk. The TV network announced today that Jang Keunsuk's activities are currently being filmed and will be formed into a documentary scheduled to air early next year.
A representative from KBS confirmed the news today, further stating that they cannot reveal much information of the documentary as they are still in the early stages of production. However, they did reveal that the documentary will include Jang Keunsuk's activities in South Korea and Japan. It was also stated that the production team is currently with Jang Keunsuk in his arena tour in Japan.
The production team is set to focus on Jang Keunsuk's personal life and the challenges on being one of the new faces of the Korean Wave.
According to the representative, filming started this week and is set to end by November. After a month of editing, the documentary is expected to be finished by early January next year. KBS will then make an announcement of a final broadcast date.
At the moment, Jang Keunsuk is in Japan for his tour "2011 The Cri Show in Japan ~Always Close To You~". He is also currently filming for the upcoming drama "Love Rain", while his movie "You're My Pet" is set to be released this November.
