Actor Kim Jae-won‘s shoulder recovery is proceeding quicker than normal so his return date should be sooner.
According to his management, Kim Jae-won injured himself during the shooting of the drama “Me Too, Flower!” but is recovering speedily.
Kim Jae-won had injuries to the tendons, joint and ligaments in his right shoulder and they were to take about 12 weeks to heal. However, regular treatment and self care gave him a bit of good news.
Kim Jae-won is being treated by rehabilitation Doctor Na Young-moo who also treats figure skating queen Kim Yuna.
Doctor Na said, “After looking at the results of the MRI test, his injuries are severe but his muscles that support his shoulders are strong so he doesn’t need an operation, just rehabilitation. After 6 weeks of treatment he should be well enough to start acting again”.
Meanwhile, Kim Jae-won sent his support to the drama “Me Too, Flower!” which he had to step down from. “It’s a good drama and I am looking forward to it. I am sorry I couldn’t go along with it. I wish the best of luck for it and I hope many viewers will also support it”.
