Korean stars have joined hands to promote the upcoming Nuclear Security Summit in Seoul.
Earlier this month, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Trade named Korean-American singer Lena Park, better known here as Park Jung-hyun, actor Jang Keun-seok and child actors Wang Suk-hyun and Jin Ji-hee as ambassadors to help promote the summit.
They will participate in a variety of campaigns to promote the biggest diplomatic event ever held in Korea, where more than 50 heads of state and representatives of international organizations will attend to make a world free of nuclear terrorism.
Lena Park will sing a promotional song, dubbed "Peace Song", which will highlight the significance of orchestrated global efforts to make a peaceful world, the ministry said.
The ministry also appointed around 60 students as "e-reporters" to raise awareness of the summit in Korea and overseas through blogs and other online activities.
