Top Korean actress Ko Hyun-jung's new comedy flick "Miss GO" made a stellar debut at the No. 1 spot at the local box office during the fourth week of June.

According to the figures polled by the Korea Box Office Information System (KOBIS) on Monday, "Miss GO," which opened in theaters on June 21, took the title of the most-watched film with 268,768 moviegoers between June 22 and 24, holding off the two-week winner "The Concubine."

"Miss GO," co-starring actors Yu Hae-jin, Sung Dong-il, Lee Moon-sik and Ko Chang-seok, tells the story of a timid female lead who suffers from sociophobia. She gets involved in a 42-million-dollar crime after helping a nun on the street, and runs into five strangers.

The five men she meets on the street all come from different backgrounds and they turn the woman's life upside down, transforming her into the queen of crime.

Slipping to the No. 2 spot was Cho Yeo-jung and Kim Dong-wook's erotic pic "The Concubine" with 224,483 tickets sold during the same period.

Dreamworks' animated pic "Madagascar 3: Europe's Most Wanted," voiced by Hollywood big names Ben Stiller, Jada Pinkett Smith and Chris Rock, was also pushed down one notch from last week to No. 3 with 219,377 admits.

Rounding out the top ten films during the weekend was "King of Flattery," "All About My Wife," "Lockout," "Runway Cop," "Men in Black III," "Prometheus" and "Faces in the Crowd."
