MBC “The King’s Doctor” has continued to stand strong atop the Monday and Tuesday primetime ratings chart for the fourth consecutive week.

The Cho Seung-woo and Lee Yo-won starrer was crowned the winner with an average rating of 15.1 percent during the week of November 5 to 6, according to data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics].

Helmed by stellar director Lee Byung-hoon of Hallyu drama “Jewel in The Palace” (MBC, 2003-2004), "The King's Doctor" has strongly captivated the audience by portraying a veterinarian named Baek Gwang-hyun [played by Cho] growing into a loyal doctor of the King in the Joseon Dynasty.

Keeping its runner-up title is KBS “Ohlala Couple,” which earned 12.5 percent of the total viewers' support during the same time frame.

The comic drama has been giving out much excitement for the viewers, whimsically drawing a love triangle of the three main characters -- Soo-nam [Shin Hyun-joon], Yeo-ok [Kim Jung-eun] and Hyun-woo [Han Jae-seok].

Meanwhile, SBS' new drama “THE LORD OF THE DRAMA,” starring actor Kim Myung-min, actress Jung Ryeo-won and Super Junior’s Siwon, saw 6.6 percent of the audience tune in and sat at the last place on the chart.

The series, kicked off its run on Monday, tells a story of dramamakers including an ambivalent TV producer, an honest rookie scriptwriter and an arrogant idol singer.

AGB Nielson Research’s data showed similar figures to the TNmS’ during the second week of November.

While “The King’s Doctor” topped the chart with 15.1 percent, “Ohlala Couple” and “THE LORD OF THE DRAMA” each sat at No. 2 and No. 3 with 11.6 and 6.9 percent in ratings.
