KBS' weekend series “My Daughter, Seo-young” has maintained its golden status for the sixth week in a row atop weekly TV ratings chart.

The Park Hae-jin and Lee Bo-young starrer nabbed the No. 1 title again with 33.2 percent of the total viewers during the second week of November, according to data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] Monday.

Since its premiere on September 15, the family drama has been a household name here with its detailed portrayal of a relationship between a daughter [played by Lee] and a father [Chun Ho-jin].

Next up is KBS’ new daily series “Cheer Up, Mr. Kim!,” which kicked off its first run last Monday and attracted 25.6 percent of the viewers.

Starring Shinhwa member Kim Dong-wan and actress Choi Jung-yoon, the drama is expected to make more noise on the chart with its touching story of a 32-year-old bachelor named Kim Tae-pyeong [played by Kim], who becomes the guardian of four children.

KBS’ comedy program “Gag Concert” and SBS’ daily series “Still You” each followed next with 22.8 and 21.6 percent during the same period.

Meanwhile, SBS hit variety show “I Like Sundays” registered 20.9 percent of the audience tuned in, rounding out the top five of the chart.

Other programs loved by the public last week are “KBS 9 o’clock News,” MBC weekend series “May Queen,” KBS hit drama “The Innocent Man,” SBS cultural program “Wow How” and SBS’ comedy show “Star King.”

In the meantime, AGB Nielson Media Research’s data showed similar figures to the TNmS’ during the week of November 5 to 11.

While “My Daughter, Seo-young” dominated the chart with 30.5 percent, “Cheer Up, Mr. Kim” and “Gag Concert” each landed in the No. 2 and No. 3 spot after scoring 22 and 20.9 percent, respectively.
