Kim Soo Hyun will fly to Japan to promote MBC TV’s drama series The Moon Embracing the Sun.
On December 5, Keyeast, Kim’s agency, reported that Kim will stay in Japan on December 8 and 9 to promote the Moon Embracing the Sun, which will start airing on NHK on January 20 next year.
Kim will appear on TV shows, give interviews, and meet his fans in the country.
The series was very popular in Korea early this year. Kim played the role of Lee Hwon, a king who loves his first love only.
The series aired on KNTV in August, and Kim received a lot of attention in Japan at the time. At this, NHK decided to air the series on Sundays at 9:00 p.m., the prime time slot.
Kim is currently filming movie Covertness. He plays the lead role of Won Ryu Hwan, a spy from North Korea. The movie will be released next year.
