Kwon Sang Woo and Soo Ae recently completed filming scenes in the poor hillside areas of Seoul for their drama.
The two filmed outdoors in the poor village area of Seoul’s Jungneung-dong. The preview still cut showed the two carrying their possessions in boxes, suitcases and bags through the winding shantytown
The upcoming SBS drama, ‘Queen of Ambition’ stars Soo Ae as Da Hae, a woman from a poor background who deeply aspires to become the First Lady. Ha Ryu (Kwon Sang Woo), stars as the man who sacrifices everything for Da Hae.
The two also filmed a scene at the location at night where they overlook the city’s lights at night and promises their love to each other forever.
The drama’s production praised the two co-stars’ chemistry and promised fans were in for a treat when the drama begins airing.
Centered around themes of love, betrayal, desire and ambition, the new drama premieres on SBS in January.
