Singer-turned-actress Sung Yuri recently filmed in a scene for as long as twelve hours.
Sung, starring in movie Noona as Yoon Hee, extended herself for about twelve hours to film a scene in which she sheds tears in a storm. To express the complicated character of the role she’s playing, the actress took part in an extensive training to lose some weight.
With this work. Sung tries out a new character she’s never faced up before. The former Fin.K.L member wants it to be a steppingstone for her career as an actress.
Reportedly, the actress has accepted that she hasn’t been paid guaranteed considering it is a low-budget movie, which focuses more on creating artistic value rather than making profit.
Slated to be released on January 3, 2013, the movie Noona is a story of a sister of a boy, who dies because of a flood. The sister, Yoon Hee, lives in guilty and agony of losing her beloved brother. She keeps a photo of her brother, which is the sole memorabilia of her late sibling. One day, she gets her wallet stolen, which contains the precious photo of her brother.
