Actor Song Joong Ki received the Best Actor Award.
On December 8, the ’2012 K-Drama Star Awards’ was held at the DCC Convention Center in Daejeon, Korea.
Song appeared on stage and said, “First of all, I want to thank you for this honor.” His fans constantly shouted for him and Song made people laugh by saying, “Please let me talk.”
“I’m honored to received this prize. It’s ridiculous that I won considering all the other incredible nominees. It means a lot to me because Daejeon is my hometown.”
“Thank you for supporting my TV series Innocent Man. I think the people who love K-Dramas are the best. I’m honored thanks to the audience. I will become a better actor who is always modest and works hard,” he added.
Besides Song, Kim Sang Joong of The Chaser, Shin Ha Gyun of Brain, Ahn Jae Wook of Light and Shadow, and Han Seok Gyu of A Deep-rooted Tree were nominated for the Best Actor Award.
