[News] “The Horse Doctor” Steady Winner on Mon-Tue Ratings Chart.

The MBC drama “The Horse Doctor” has continued to perch atop the Monday and Tuesday primetime ratings chart.

The Cho Seung-woo and Lee Yo-won starrer topped the chart for the last 15 weeks with an average rating of 20.1 percent during the week of January 21 and 22, according to data polled by TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] Wednesday.

In this week’s episodes, Baek Gwang-hyun [played by Cho], one-time veterinarian, gave the cure to the queen of the Qing Dynasty and returned Joseon.

Next up was the KBS series “School 2013,” which earned the support of 15.2 percent during the same time frame.

The teenage drama, starring Jang Nara, Choi Daniel and Lee Jong-suk, has garnered rave responses from audiences for its delicate portrayal of modern school lives and problems.

Sitting in the last position was the SBS drama “Queen of Ambition,” which stars Kwone Sang-woo, Soo-ae and TVXQ’s U-Know Yunho. The revenge drama registered an average rating of 9.0 percent this week.

Nielsen Korea’s data also showed similar figures of the three dramas to those of TNmS’ during the fourth week of January.

While “The Horse Doctor” dominated the chart with 20.1 percent of audiences, “School 2013” and “Queen of Ambition” followed next with 14.9 and 10.1 percent, respectively.
