K-pop boy band members Taecyeon of 2PM and Lee Hong-gi of FTIsland have been enjoying their on-screen married lives with overseas starlets.

Taecyeon paired up with Taiwanese idol singer Wu Ying Jie while Lee Hong-gi with Japanese actress Fujii Mina in the upcoming international version of the Korean TV show, set to be aired from April in 20 countries, MBC said on February 25.

During its taping continuously hopping between Korea and neighboring countries, two Korean stars said they had no trouble with communicating with theirforeign brides since Wu is fluent in English. Taecyeon is also a fluent English speaker.

Japanese actress Fujii speaks good enough Korean and she also starred in Korean TV series “The Lord of the Dramas" acting in Korean.

The popular TV show gave births to two other mixed couples before, namely Super Junior`s Kyuhyun and Chinese actress Lou Yi Xiao, T-ara`s Hyomin and Chinese boy band BoBo member Fu Xin Bo, in the Chinese version of "We Got Married" which aired in Korea February last year.

The new 15-episode series kicked off shooting under the cross-border cooperation between MBC and Sony Pictures Entertainment Networks Asia [SPENA] in Singapore from last July.

The reality show has been one of the hottest reality shows in Korea airing for nearly five years since it first hit the airwaves in March of 2008.

Many young idols shot to stardom after appearing in the marriage-experience program, such as Jo Kwon of 2AM and Ga-in of Brown Eyed Girls, Jung Yong-hwa of CNBLUE and Seohyun of Girls’ Generation.

On the other hand, boy group MBLAQ’s Lee Joon and actress Oh Yeon-seo stepped down from the show after Lee posted an unsatisfactory comment about his current schedules online in January, three weeks after Oh and actor Lee Jang-woo embroiled in a real-life love scandal.
