The international star revealed that she is currently in the process of selecting a date and venue for her big day.
It's a double dose of good news for international action star Michelle Yeoh. After receiving the "Excellence in Asian Cinema Award" at the 7th Asian Film Awards ceremony in Hong Kong on Monday night, Michelle made her victory taste even sweeter and announced that she will be tying the knot with FIA Chairman Jean Todt this year, after eight years of courtship.
The actress, who turns 50 in August, let on that she is now choosing the date and venue for her big day and hopes to hold the wedding in her Malaysian hometown for her dad to witness the union. She also expressed her wish to find a suitable place to throw a big party for her friends.
In addition, Michelle blissfully shared that her romantic husband-to-be has been ‘proposing’ to her every day. Though the couple adores children, they have decided to let nature take its course, following their previous unsuccessful IVF attempts.
The actress also mentioned that she will only consider doing a movie if the script is good, in response to earlier reports about the impending sequel to Ang Lee’s internationally-acclaimed film Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon.
