[News] “That Winter, the Wind Blows” Attains 6th Crown on Wed-Thurs TV Chart

The SBS series “That Winter, the Wind Blows” has added one more record to its five weeks of reign on the Wednesday and Thursday TV chart.

The melodrama secured its sixth crown after pulling in an average of 12.6 percent viewers during the week of March 20 and 21, TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] showed on Friday.

As the drama’s popularity has been steadily growing thanks to its dramatic storylines, it is being well received by Singaporean audiences after it hit the airwaves in the country from March 13, SBS explained.

The KBS action series “IRIS 2” continued sit at the number two position with an average of 10.5 percent ratings in the same time frame.

With only one more week ahead to the finale of the 20 episodes, the MBC romcom “7th Grade Civil Servant” stayed at the bottom of the chart with an average of 9.4 percent viewers.

Meanwhile, Nielsen Korea showed the three dramas in the same order with different figures from those of TNmS during the third week of March.

While “That Winter” nabbed the top seed with 14.3 percent, “IRIS 2” and “7th Grade” landed at the following two spots with 10.0 and 9.1 percent, respectively.
