[News] “That Winter” Comes to Happy Ending, “All about My Romance” Takes the Baton.

The hit SBS series “That Winter, the Wind Blows” has closed its curtains with a happy ending, while “All about My Romance” took the empty time slot on the Wednesday and Thursday TV chart.

The sad melodrama sat atop the ratings chart after posting a viewership of 15.4 percent with its final episode on April 3, TNmS [Total National Multimedia Statistics] showed on Friday.

Showing the highest ratings out of the 16 episodes, the series marked their two leads' (Zo In-sung and Song Hye-kyo) successful comeback to the small screen  (in eight and five years respectively).

The KBS spy thriller “IRIS 2” landed at No. 2 after pulling in 10.6 percent of viewers, while the new MBC melodrama “When a Man Falls in Love” kicked off at the bottom with 7.3 percent.

On April 4, the new winner turned out to be “IRIS 2,” which edged out “When a Man Falls in Love” with a 0.5 percent gap after drawing in 11.3 percent ratings.

The new SBS drama “All about My Romance” started at the bottom of the chart with the support of only 6.9 percent of total viewers.

Starring Shin Ha-kyun and Lee Min-jung, the 16-episode romantic comedy depicts a secret love story between two members of the National Assembly who have different political beliefs.

Meanwhile, Nielsen Korea showed the three dramas in the same order and similar figures from those of TNmS during the first week of April.

On Wednesday, “That Winter” ended at the top with 15.8 percent, while “IRIS 2” and “When a Man” followed next with 10.2 and 6.6 percent, respectively.

The next day marked “IRIS 2” as the new No. 1 with 11.1 percent, while “When a Man” and “All about My Romance” following next with 10.1 and 7.4 percent, respectively.
