After the release of their latest single, “Opera,”Super Junior has taken over the Japanese Oricon charts! “Opera” first landed on the third spot and remained there for five days until it reached #1 on May 14, besting popular Japanese acts, Arashi and NMB48.

The single has sold over 150,000 copies since its release on May 9.

Super Junior recently performed for over 100,000 fans at the Tokyo Dome on May 12 and 13 for the Japan leg of their “Super Show 4” world tour.

The boys will be having encore performances of “Super Show 4” on May 26 and 27 at the Seoul Olympic Gymnastics Arena to wrap up the concert series.

Super Junior’s Leeteuk shared a funny story regarding one of their concerts in Europe. MBC “Joo Byung Jin’s Talk Concert” aired the second story of the two-part SM Entertainment special yesterday night.

DBSK’s Yunho and Changmin, Super Junior’s Leeteuk and Eunhyuk, and Girls’ Generation’s Tiffany and Seohyun guested on the show as each group’s representative.

Leeteuk started, “Our European fans are really pretty. Whenever we have concerts in Europe, we tell each other where the pretty fans are in the audience while we’re in the dressing rooms mid-outfit change.

As a result, when we go back on stage, most of the Super Junior members gravitate towards the area where our pretty fans are,” sharing a secret behind Super Junior concerts.

MC Joo Byung Jin asked, “If European fans are pretty, what about our country’s fans?” to which Leeteuk cleverly responded, “Our Korean fans are passionate!” Meanwhile, the SM artists showed off their wit and charms during the episode.
