A fresh calendar upon the wall
Blank space on which to fill our days
Record the special dates of loved ones
to seek an order through the maze

Anniversaries, weddings and birthdays
Nights out to dinner -- celebrate it all
The special times within our lives
recorded here -- winter through fall

Doctor's appointments appear more often,
as each calendar arrives anew.
Here we list our labors and leisure, and
marvel how soon, the bills come due

Yet the new calendar is welcomed
so fresh and hopeful are its pages
The good soul anticipates the best,
its love of life, forever rages

The Chao Phraya River

The Chao Phraya (Thai: แม่น้ำเจ้าพระยา) is a major river in Thailand, with its low alluvial river plain marking the mainland of the country.According to many European old maps, the river is named as Menam or Mae Nam, the Thai word for river (Me or Mae is "Mother", Nam is "Water"). The name Chao Phraya is a Thai feudal title, which can be translated as General or Lord. In the English-language media in Thailand the name is often translated as River of Kings.

Chamras Saewataporn

Chamras Saewataporn (born in Bangkok, Thailand on December 9, 1955), is an accomplished Thai musician and composer.He has composed more than a thousand songs, of which about a hundred were played as theme songs in movies. He won many times for domestic and international awards like The Best Music from 32nd Asia-Pacific Film Festival 1987 Taipei. "But many awards and money should not be the goal of a musician."

Chamras once said that he believes his musical creation belongs to the whole world. "Should I die and be re-incarnated, I wish I could listen to my own music." He further explains, "Nothing in this world belongs to us. Not even ourselves nor our creation.. it is all duty.. some lesser some greater."
