The streets were all blocked by police cars. Sirens are heard everywhere and people were running back and forth. SoongJun was talking with police officers, giving instructions. JiHoon brought some documents and a video tape.
JH: It's fortunate that the tape was able to capture 30 seconds of the incident. If we watch this, we'll be able to recognize the offenders.

********Hospital/ Lobby
SY is waiting there, worried, bruised and covered with blood. His men are also bruised, standing behind. SY went to the operation room...
**Hospital/ Operation Room
YeJu is having surgery. There is the image of a foetus on the monitor, heart beating.

SY leaned his head on the door...

MS: (Angrily) Son of a Bit!@# t!

Doc: She's in her 4th month now, and you didn't know?
SY: (Without looking) How's the baby?
Doc: She almost lost the baby. She has to be very careful.

SY: (Looking down) Why didn't you tell me? Shouldn't you have told me something? It's my child. I have the right to know.
YJ: (Looked away) Didn't have the courage.
SY: Courage for what? You are afraid to have a gangster's child?
HJ: This is your life. No one knows when you'll go through this again. You have to carry bodyguards everywhere and you can't trust anyone. Are you asking me to give that kind of life to my child? Maybe it would have been better had I miscarried.
SY left the room, moody. YJ contained her tears.

SY was standing, taking his bandage off his arms. Sado brought in his car and SY got in.
SY: Did you find out?
Sado: Yes Sir.
SY: Where is he?
Sado: At JoGuang Hotel's Sauna room. But is it OK that you go by yourself?
SY: Shut up and just go!

********JoGuang's Hotel/ Hallway
It's deserted and quiet except for the guard standing there. Suddenly, there is the noise of fist fights. Sado beat up some people, clearing the way for SY. SY walked into the Sauna room.
**Sauna Room
Boss1 is laying down, eyes closed. He opened his eyes, and saw SY. SY locked the room. Boss got scared.
Boss1: Hey, SangYup... (Stumbling with words.) SY...
SY: (Folded up the arms of his shirt) I could forgive you anything else. But you harmed my wife. You almost killed my child who has never got to see the light, being miscarried before being born!!! (He screamed like a maniac. Boss1 kneeled down, alarmed and shaking.) That, I cannot forgive you.
Boss1: Wait! Please hear me speak. (SY is closing his fist and touching one unto the other.) SangYup, please.
SY: Ahhhh!!!!
Lights off.

********Night Club/ Room
BangKe: (On the phone) What? Is that true? Where is he now? (To himself in lower voice.) I'll go nuts. (Continued on the phone.) Find out where he is, hurry! Page him and call him, hurry up you son of a Bit @# ch! (SY and Sado entered the room.) Forget it. Hang up! (He and his 4 men get in standing position.)
SY lighted up a cigar and sat on the couch.
BK: What happened? Where did you come from?
SY: (Threw the lighter on the table.) Why do you want to know that? Call the boys. Even those down in the country.
BK: Why do you do this?! (SY drank beer) I know how you feel but if you behave like that, things will get difficult. YongDungPyo's men, Juman's band and even YangSon's band are getting together … to come after us.
SY: So they want war? I'll give them war, why should I be afraid?
BK: If you wanted to give them a lesson, you should have sent us. How many are we? But you did it on your own. And that Boss is someone you shouldn't have touched on your own.
SY: They started it!!! (Stood, hit the table and shouted)
BK: Why did they do it? Instead of finding who attacked you first, you gathered all the big bosses together and humiliated them.
SY: (Holding BK's neck.) So what? Are you afraid? Are you afraid to be with me? (To everyone.) If any of you is afraid, just leave. I don't need you.

********Hospital/ Boss1's Room
Boss1 is sleeping, his head all wrapped in bandage. JiHoon walked inside, and looked at him.

********SoongJun's Office
JH: He was really messed up. He was unconscious. I couldn't question him, but there's no mistake that JSY did it. (SJ nodded)

*********Elementary School
YS is playing basketball with kids. The kids are arguing about who has won. YS was laughing. He heard piano music. He stopped laughing. It's "Love Affair." YS walked towards the music. Inside the Music Room, Lydia was playing the piano.
Lydia: (Stood up.) The other day I saw you playing it and I looked for the chords. You like it, don't you?
YS: Yes, there was once someone I liked... (Looked out from the window, recalling …)

*******YS's Flash Back
**Country Road & Valley/ near the Police University. HJ and YS were walking next to each other. As they walked down the road, a bus passed by. HJ tried to move away but YS held her hands and pushed her to his side.
**HJ held a red votive candle to YS's face.
**HJ saw YS walked away. Suddenly, she opened the door and got out. YS stopped walking and turned around. HJ run to YS and slowly lain her head on his shoulders. YS hugged her.

*******Boutique/ Employee's Office
"Love Affair" is heard from the old record disc. InSu stopped the music.
IS: Why this company makes you work so hard?
HaeJun: (Drawing sketches, without looking up.) How were you able to come inside? This is a restricted area.
IS: I'm a reporter. I told them I have an interview with you. (He looked around and sat down.)
HJ: (Continued drawing.) There's coffee in the back. Self-service. And I still have one more hour to go.
IS: I understand. Don't worry about me.
He started looking around for something to read. He saw the corner of a picture from HJ's schedule book. He took it out. It's YS's half-burnt photo. HJ snatched it away.
IS: I'm sorry, I didn't know this was your schedule book. (HJ looked down)
**Boutique/ Elevator
HJ and IS said nothing.
**HJ's Car
HJ was driving. IS was next to her. They said nothing. HJ stopped the car.
HJ: Don't think I lied to you. I'm still trying to forget him. I'll forget him one day.
IS: If you want, I could tell you where he is. I went there before, to return the ring. I think you better meet him. Then you'll let go of him more easily. If you really have the courage to let him go. (He takes out his notepad, scribbles something and gives it to her.)

********Filming Studio
SuHwa was waiting, amidst many people walking back and forth. The manager approached her. She stood up.
Manager: What should we do now? They already cast someone for that role.
SH: Then it's over? I waited 4 hours here!
Man: I'm mad too. He promised me this one for sure. I'm really tired of this business. (A man is walked past) Hey, Mr. director... (The man ignored them)

********Streets of Seoul/ Terminal
SH went downstairs the stairs with luggage. She's waiting at a Train Station, hesitating. She bought a ticket.

*********Elementary School/ Outside
YS was painting on a bench, in white. HJ drove through, and parked outside the entrance. She looked at the piece of paper, which have the directions listed. She saw YS from a distance, playing with kids. She reversed her car, and left.
SH was walking down the country road, holding a fruit basket. She stepped aside to let the car go by. She saw the driver - HJ ...

*******Inside a Room
MaeJu and DogN sat up, 90 degrees from the floor, together with other gangsters. MJ and DogN are getting tired, complaining that Boss was taking too long. The door opened and KangSoo entered with BangKe and TalBok. Everyone stood up.
BK: OK everyone. (KS's boys are having hard time standing up straight.) That's OK. From now on, you will have one mind and heart. I don't know when you'll be needed, but that day will come soon. Until then, exercise and make yourself strong.
KS: (To the men standing.) It's impossible to survive here on your own. Even Capone became who he is because he had strong followers behind. Isn't it so, Sir?
BK: Of course!
KS: So we too, must follow BK and be strong. Do you understand?
Everyone but his "2 men", Yes Sir! (And they bowed. MJ and DN responded late)

********Night Club/ Room
BK and TB entered.
JS: Where have you been? (BK and TB bowed) What's your duty? I told you not to be more than 5 metres away from Mr. JSY. Where have you been every time he needed you!
BK: Let me explain.
JS: (To others) The rest of you leave right now! (Walking towards BK after everyone left.) What have you been thinking lately?
BK: Hyung...
JS: I asked you a question. If you lie to me, I'll kill you.
BK: (Kneeled down.) Hyung, I think you suspect something about me but there's nothing going on. You can trust me for that.
JS: Then why are you training your man? Don't give me excuses. Just tell me.

TB is carrying an unconscious BK on his back.

JS is thinking.

MS is drinking water. A girl is nursing him.
MS: JaeSik (JS walked closer) How old are you now?
JS: Older than I could count. I've served you for more than 20 years now.
MS: I've been careless with you. I should be independent by now.
JS: I'll be with you until you pass away.
MS: JaeSik...
JS: Yes, Sir.
MS: What do you think about our mafia? Wouldn't you like to be in charge?
JS: No, Sir. SY is there.
MS: No, he can't do it.
JS: But I can't do it either. Once you're gone, I'll leave the gang.

Boss1 is smoking with his face all bandaged. MS and JS walked in.
MS: I heard the cops came today too. What're planning to do? (No answer) We always settled disputes among ourselves. It's a basic rule that we don't get the police involved in this. (Boss1 looked away.) If you want me to beg you, I will.
JS: (Trying to stop MS from bowing) Sir!
MS: (To JS) Get off me.
JS: Boss!
MS: Take your hands off me!!! (JS let go of his hands. To Boss1.) You shouldn't involve the police in this. I have to protect him. He's just an immature brat. If you forgive him this time, I'll make sure he keeps his hands off the mafia entirely. ShinShaeKi Band will end with me. What do you say? (Boss1 looked surprised.) But you have to promise me, yes, you have to give me your word that even after I die, you'll let him live. If you promise me that, I'll keep my end of the deal.

*******Dark Mansion/ Living Room
MS: (To SY) Take you hands off the Gang and go to the country. And don't come back until I call you! Go now!

********Black Car/ Country Highway
SY signalled. Responding, Sado gave SY a cigar. SY put it in his mouth but YJ took it away. SY and YJ held each other's hands.


*******SJ's House/ His Office
HJ walked inside the dark room.
SJ: (Without looking at her.) It's been 5 years since father died. Now it's time for redemption.


*********Countryside/ Near Lake
SY was walking near the lake, holding a stick in his hand. YJ was looking at the waters, inside a stationed boat.
SY: What you're doing? (YJ smiled dreamily, stood up and walked away.)
YJ: Isn't it peaceful here? I've lived with you for 5 years, and I never felt this way before. I always felt I was running away, as if something would suddenly fall on me. I'm OK with having a child here while you farm. Why didn't we think of this before?
SY: Don't think anything stupid. In a couple of months we'll go back to Seoul. There's no way I could live here. Once the problem is solved, father will call me back. We just have to wait.


********Elementary School/ Outside
SY and YS were seated around a table, eating BBQ meat and drinking white liquor.
SY: What the heck! How could you live in a place like this? (YS just continued drinking.) You better slow down. Why are drinking so much?
YS: Isn't it strange? No matter how much I drink, I can't get drunk. Sometimes I wish I were drunk.
SY: Do you think it's our fault you couldn't graduate from the Police University?
YS: That was just a dream. No matter how much I run, I couldn't escape from the fact that I'm a Jang. (Smiling) Did you know when I realized that?
**Military Service
YS's Voice: I was coming back from training...
YS and his companion were walking, dressed as soldiers. They saw their superior and they saluted him respectfully. The superior signalled to the companion to leave, and so he walked away. The superior walked towards YS, looked around to make sure no one was looking, and he bowed 90 degrees to YS. YS didn't understand.
Superior: I got a call from the hyung's in Seoul. Until you leave here, I'll make sure you're comfortable. So call me whenever you need me, Sir.
YS's Voice: That was a sour feeling. Then, I realized then that I couldn't escape my identity.
**Back to Elementary School
SY: (Smiling.) If you feel like that, come back with me to Seoul. If we unite, there's nothing to fear. If you help me, there's no one who could touch me.
YS: I'm thinking of farming here. I already saw a piece of land that I want to purchase. There's got to be at least one in our family who's not a gangster, don't you think?


*********Countryside Highway
Black cars and a Mini Van are speeding down the Highway.
**Elementary School
Phone rang but no one picked up the phone.
**SY's Car
The cell-phone rang but there's no one inside.


********Dark Mansion
JS: They're not picking up.
MS: You go down...! No, call the area police!!!!


*********Countryside/ Near Lake
SY was fishing and playing with YJ.
**Near the Road
YS was walking and saw black cars driven by gangsters. He stopped. He started running.
**Near Lake
Sado was holding a bucket with fishes. SY and YJ ware walking side by side. They were returning the fishes to the water, smiling. Through the reflections in the water, they could tell a mob was approaching them. They stopped smiling.
SY: Sado, take my wife and run. Don't let them touch her or I'll kill you.
Sado: Boss...
SY: Just leave now! (Sado and YJ started to walk away)
YS was running towards them. SY was fighting with about 10 people. YS joined the fight. The 2 brothers are standing back to back, surrounded by mobsters. SY smiled. YS followed. The fight continued from right to left, hitting and getting hit. YS helped SY up. They heard the police car sirens. They looked up. A man was running towards YS...


******SJ's House
SJ: (Picked up the phone while HJ listened) Yes... What? Who got mugged? Jang SangYup and... Jang YoSuk? What the heck! Find out the circumstances. What do you mean, find that out! (HJ looks petrified.) I'll be there, wait for me.


*******HJ's Car
HJ was driving, worried and afraid.


******Country Hospital/ Lobby
YS was waiting there, with blood covering all over him. He stood up and saw Sado.
Sado: We don't know if they'll attack again so Big Boss wanted you to guard the school. Boss is out of the critical condition and he's more stable now.
YS: What about my sister in law?
Sado: (Looking down) She miscarried.


******Elementary School/ Outside
YS was slowly walking when he saw a red car. He stopped. He started looking around... and saw HJ. They both stood far from each other, just looking.
They sat on a bench, far from each other, not looking. HJ started to walk away.
YS: Wait!
HJ: (She stopped walking but she didn't turn to look.) No, now I see you're OK, that's good. That's more than enough. I just came to make sure of that, really. (She slowly walked away.)
YS witnessed her disappeared into the night, wanted to say something but unable to stop her. He just stood there... Suddenly, he started running. He saw YJ walking slowly away. He approached, touched her back and made her turn around. He hugged and caressing her hair. They both closed their eyes.

******Elementary School/ Outside
YS witnessed her disappeared into the night, wanted to say something but unable to stop her. He just stood there... Suddenly, he started running. He saw YJ walking slowly away. He approached, touched her back and made her turn around. He hugged and caressing her hair. They both closed their eyes.
So much they had contained! Dosu was nearby and saw them.

********Dark Mansion/ Living Room
JMS: (Pushed the girl and broke a flower vase.) Son of a Bit !@@ ch! (He took out the sword hanging against the wall and pointed it in the air.) Find them right away! No matter where they are, find them all!
JS: Sir, it's more urgent to transfer SY to Seoul's Hospital.
Lawyer Suh: I already arranged for ShinShaeKi Band to reserve a place at the University Hospital.
MS: Get the best doctors there. We have to save him, I can't let him die!

*******Country Hospital/ Hall
Gangsters and policemen are guarding the place. YJ is walking wearing patient's clothes, followed by her nurse. She tries to open SY's room but the guards stopped her.
YJ: Let me in, I'm his wife.
**SY's Room
YJ: (Looking at her unconscious husband, she talks to herself without moving her lips.) Honey, I have never called you like this before. I'm calling you like this for the first time but you are not able to hear me. I know you won't be destroyed like this, you will fight back. (She held SY's right hand.) I won't leave your side. Take courage. (She put her head over his body.)
**Back to the Hall
BK and his men were walking. The gangsters guarding the place bowed to them.
BK: (To Sado.) How's boss doing?
Sado: He's out of the critical condition. Is he being transferred to Seoul?
BK: Yes, where is he?
Sado: (Pointing) This way.
BK: (To his men.) You guys stay here. (To TB) Guard this place well. Sh @## it!

********Elementary School/ Empty Classroom
YS sat, showing his back towards the blackboard, near the window. HJ sat a few seats away from him, facing the blackboard. They seem afraid to look at each other.
YS: I thought you would have forgotten me by now.
HJ: Do you really think I could do that?
YS: (He looked at her. HJ looked back at him.) HaeJun... (A small tear fell from her eyes.)

********Country Hospital/ Outside & Hall
Police patrols are entering the Hospital at full speed, sirens on. JiHoon and SoongJun came out of the patrol cars. They both walked down the Hall, showing their I.D.'s to the guards and entered SY's room.

********Elementary School/ Empty Classroom
Lydia: (Stood outside of the classroom and hesitated when she saw HJ) Pardon me... You should change and go back to the Hospital now. They'll transfer him to Seoul.

*******Country Hospital/ Hall
SJ and JH came out from SY's room. The guards saluted to them. Two people were half-running towards their direction. It's YS and HJ. They stopped. SJ looked at HJ and felt betrayed. HJ looked down.
SJ: Have you already forgotten how our father died?
HJ: Oppa...
SJ walked out, JH stared at YS. The door opened. SY was being transferred by the medical personnel.

******Country Hospital/ Outside
SY's bed was being adjusted inside the ambulance. YS saw SY's hand shook a little.
YS: (He drew nearer) Hyung! (He touched SY's hand.) Hyung. (He tried to listen but the others pull him back.)
BK: (To TB.) Go in! (To others.) You all stay here and take care of Mrs. Jang. (He got into his own car and followed the ambulance. YS and the rest saw them left.)

*******Country Hospital/ Waiting Bench
HJ sat all by herself. YS sat next to her.
YS: (Not looking) To your Oppa, he may be a convict, but he is a brother to me. I can't deny that. I... don't have the courage to have you. We shouldn't have met from the beginning... (HJ touched YS's hand, looking at him. He looked back.)
HJ took the ring off YS's pinky-finger and put in on her own ring-finger. YS held HJ's head over his shoulders and caressed her.

******Country Highway
Both the ambulance and the car behind stopped in the middle of the road. Doctors and nurses came out of the ambulance. The ambulance left.

*******Seoul University Hospital
MS: (He looked at his watch.) What's going on? They should be here by now. Did they get into an accident or what?
JS: That can't be. I'll find out, Sir.
**Later
JS run back, unable to utter any words.
MS: (Stood up) Let's go home.
JS: Yes?
MS: He won't come here. They deceived us again. (He walked out)

********Dark Mansion/ Living Room
LS and MS were seated. JS was standing behind. Other gangsters were standing further down. MS was smoking. The phone rang.
JS: (Picked up the phone.) Yes... BK, son of a bit @#$ ch! (LS turned on the speaker)
BK's voice: Forgive me but I had to survive.
MS: Where's SY?
BK's voice: Boss, I'm really sorry to be calling you over the phone like this. Don't worry about Mr. Jang. We're taking very good care of him.
MS: Can you do this to me? Who did you betray me for?
Voice: I'll call you back later. I'll tell you the specifics then. (He hangs up.)
MS: Jung BaeKi, you son of a bi #$% tch!

*********SJ's Office
SJ: (Mockingly.) Are you asking me for a favour?
LS: Isn't this your case anyway?
SJ: Aren't you ashamed? Once you were a sunbae of mine with lots of potentials. But now, you're just a gangster's servant.
LS: If this world were just filled with angels, there would be no fun. There's got to be people like me who admitted not to be an angel.
SJ: Even if you didn't ask me to, I was getting ready for it. Not for JMS but because this is my job. Good night!

HJ entered as SJ was about to leave. HJ looked guilty. SJ tries to pass by her.
HJ: Oppa... (SJ stopped) I have something to tell you. I really have to tell you. I'm in love with that man.
SJ: (Unbelieving) What? What did you say?
HJ: Actually, (a small tear is forming around her eyes) during the 4 years I was in Paris there was not a day I didn't think of him.
SJ: Do you realize what you're telling me?
HJ: (A tear fell) I'm sorry, Oppa. But I cannot continue deceiving myself and others. I'm really sorry. (She's crying.)
SJ touched her shoulders, drew her closer and hugged her, "I... will never forgive you for this. And I won't forgive the man who took you away from me." He hugged her tightly, and run out.

********Dark Mansion/ Living Room
The room is being surveyed. The phones jacks are connected to the computer terminal by JH and other policemen. The phone rang.
JH: (To MS) You should pick it up. He won't suspect you've asked the police for assistance. You need to talk to him at least 5 minutes for us to track his location.
MS: (Picked up) Yes.
BK: It's BK, Boss. It's me.
MS: What are you trying to do?
JH: (Picked up another phone, whispering.) It's coming through. Start now.
MS: How can you do this to me?
BK: I'm sorry, but we had no choice.
**Computer Terminal
People are working with headphones on, typing in front of the computers, looking at a map in front of the big monitor. Lights went off.
**Back to Dark Mansion
MS: What do you want?
BK: It's simple. Just give us the entire Gang and go to live in the country. We can guarantee you that Mr. Jang will be fine then.
MS: How much do you think all that cost? Are you nuts? We have at least 80 sub-bands.
BK: I know, so we'll pay you little by little. Anyway you are retiring. (Another phone rang.)
JiHoon: (Picked it up, whispering.) Did you find it? Where? (He wrote something on a notepad and torn off that page.) Let's go! (He ran out with his men.)
MS: OK, I'll do as you ask. Don't touch my son. Take him to the hospital right away.

Police patrols are at full speed, with sirens on.

******Dark Mansion/ Living Room
JMS used a pencil to mark the notepad JH used. He is able to discern some of the pen's mark: it's an address.
**Later
JS is on the phone, writing down a number, "Thank you, I'll pay you back for this." He gave the # to JMS.
MS: Do you think they're almost there?
JS: Yes, pretty soon. (MS dialled the #.) What are you doing Sir?
MS: (On the phone.) I'm JMS. The police will get there any time soon. Run away, and leave my son there. (He hanged up)
JS: Sir, what did you do?

*******Isolated Factory
Police patrols surrounded the place. JH walked out.
**Inside the factory
JH walked inside. Swatch police were guarding him. He saw an empty table with the warm, but unfinished bowl of soup. He walked to the curtain and pushed that opened. SY was lying on a bed. No one else is there.

********Dark Mansion/ Living Room
MS was smoking. JS was standing behind. The girl came out of MS's room bringing his rod and his overcoat, "Here they are."
MS: What did you say your name is?
Girl: SooWok.
MS: You went through a lot. (To JS.) Take care of this girl and make sure she doesn't go back to the Night Clubs. (He put on his over-coat.)
JS: (Worried.) Why do you say that?
MS: You called the boys? Let's go. (He took his rod.) There is a place I used to go after we finished a big job. Only a few of us know that place. That the best hiding place.
JS: (His eyes enlarged) Yes... Sir.
MS: I can't let the police arrest that son of a bit #$$% ch! I'm going to kill him.
JS: No, let me do it.
MS: Get out. No one else should do that, do you hear me? If you touch him first, I'll kill you. (He walked out)
JS: Boss...
MS: Don't say anything.

********Inside a Building
Gangsters are eating in a basement-like room. Boss1 is there also, eating. He was startled. There were noises of fist-fights. A gangster entered, "Big Boss Jang MyunSuk himself is here!"
Boss1: What?!
The gangsters tried to block the door but it's too late. Other gangsters invade the room, beating them up. MS slowly walked in, followed by JS.
Boss1: Sir... (He kneeled down.)
MS: Even though we are gangsters. There's rules that we follow. How can you kidnap someone who is fighting with life and death? He's an immature boy. JH and SJ was giving orders to other policemen and searching the entire place. They started walking. They saw Lydia walking towards them. (SY and Lydia exchanged sad glances.)

SJ and JH entered suddenly, looking around the room. YS, DoSu and his wife were sitting on the floor.
DoSu: You are late.
SJ stared at YS.

********Elementary School/ Outside
DoSu was walking, followed by YS, "Leave this family. If you want, I'll take care of the paperwork. Live as if you have never known us. Just go."

BK: (Drinking hard.) I've betrayed the man I served for 10 years and sent him to jail. I didn't know I could do that one day.

JS was serving hot tea to MS.
MS: Everyone left me but you.
JS: Our mafia is not destroyed yet.
MS: (Laughing to himself) No, it's over now. I'm thinking of turning myself in.
JS: No, not yet. You must stay free in order for the boys to be united. You must hide until Mr. SY gets better.
MS: Until SY recovers?
JS: Yes, wait till then. We shouldn't let the mafia crumble down like this.

A man walked near the place, looking suspiciously at the house.

********Police Department
Hands are touching a huge map, rulers and markers moving. Policemen were searching... The phone rang.
JH: Let me answer. Yes. Who? Wait... (To SJ.) There's someone who looks like JMS staying at BangGal Ro.

*******University Hospital/ SY's room
SY was still unconscious, on his bed.
YJ's Voice: It's been 7 years since I first met him. (YS looked outside the window.)
YJ: I asked him what he did for a living. He just kept looking at me for a while, and then he said: "People call me a gangster, but I don't know if that's my job or what." After that, I remembered that constantly. People call him gangster but I'm not sure if he really is one or not. He always tried to act like one but I feel that he also wanted to escape from that more than anybody.

********University Hospital/ Hall
YS came out of SY's room. The gangsters bowed to him 90 degrees and they stay in that position. YS stopped walking.
YS: Why do you bow to me? Don't bow to me. (They continue on that position. He grabbed Sado's collar.) Don't do it. (He let go of him. To everyone, commanding.) Straighten yourself up. (They did.) Don't do this again. (He walked out.)

*********University Hospital/ Outside
YS sat on a bench. LS sat next to him.
LS: Your grandfather told you to change your last name? He asked me if it was legally possible. It's actually pretty easy.
YS: Hyung got hurt because of me. He could have avoided the knife. But he didn't. He didn't do that just because we share a last name legally. I came too far to deny it.
LS: (Sigh) Actually, I told your grandfather the same thing.

JS bowed ceremonially to MS.
MS: What are you doing?
JS: I don't think I could be with you much longer.
MS: What are you talking about?
JS: I told you that you shouldn't get arrested yet.
MS: It won't work. Don't try anything stupid.
JS: There is a way out. No one else knows about it. This is why this House was used as a hiding place.

The police force surrounded the area, pointing their arms towards the house. JH nodded to the police swatch, they slowly advanced. SJ joined them and they all wait until he nodded. At JH’s signal, they started walking closer, arms still pointing. The door opened and JS came out, with hands up.
A group of police swatch got closer at arms-length. At once, JS pushed one of them and took the weapon from him and ran away. Everyone started running, following him. JS stopped running. He turned... Someone fired a shot.

*********BangGal Ro's House/ Inside
Two police swatch entered, pointing their arms towards the centre. SJ and JH entered. They found nothing. They sighed.

********SJ's Office/ Dark
SJ was thinking, frustrated. He opened his desk drawer and took his father's picture. He looked.

********Seoul University Hospital/ SY's room
YS was looking at the rain from the window.
SY's Voice: Give me water...
YS: (Turned around) Hyung! (He ran to the bed, smiling.) Hyung!
SY: (Opened his eyes.) Stop making so much noise and give me water.
YS: You can't have water now. (He wet a piece of cloth and touched SY's lips.) Have this for now.
SY: Shi #$$ t! How I wish for a cup of wine...
YS: (He sat down with a smile) When you get better, I'll buy you some.
SY: (Breathing.) I saw your mom in my dreams. She was not even my mom, why did she appear to me...? (Still in pain.) Somehow, I felt sorry for her. For your mother and also for father. (YS slightly smiles.) How's your girlfriend? (YS stopped smiling.) Stupid! (SY pushed YS.) Don't just stay here. Go see her.
YS: Hyung...
SY: Please, leave me alone. (Felt the pain again.) And call my wife.

********Boutique/ Display Window
HJ was dressing up a manikin. It was raining outside. YS is standing outside, holding an umbrella and hiding from HJ's view. He walked towards the centre, turning around to look at her, smiling.
Thunder, lightnings were sounded.

*******Elementary School/ DoSu's Room
Thunder!!!! DoSu woke up, shaking. His wife woke up too, "What's going on?" She massaged him.
DoSu: (Sweating) It's my fault! It's all my doing!!!
Lydia: (She ran inside, alarmed, trying to calm down DS.) Father! (The two women were scared.)
DS: It's my fault! My fault!!! ....
