“ห้ามตาย พวกเจ้าไม่จำเป็นต้องสละชีวิตในสงคราม ไม่ว่ายังไงต้องมีชีวิตอยู่ต่อไป และกลับมาอยู่ข้างกายข้า นี่คือบัญชาของข้า กษัตริย์ของพวกเจ้า”

This line make Tamdoek be the leader of everyone’s dream. As Bae Yong Joon mentioned in his interview on his last visit in Japan, “My thought is that if my character might have been an open person who is able to free and horizontal exchanges of opinions to be able to be friends with anyone despite having a power, and an apperance of a leader whom we really need in this period of this time.” What in Tamdoek made BYJ said that?

ประโยคนี้ทำให้ทัมด๊อกกลายเป็นผู้นำในฝันของทุกคน อย่างที่เบยองจุนให้สัมภาษณ์เมื่อครั้งที่เขาไปเยือนญี่ปุ่นคราวล่าสุด เขาบอกว่า “ในความคิดของผมทัมด๊อกเป็นคนเปิดเผย ชอบแลกเปลี่ยนความคิดเห็นอย่างอิสระและเป็นมิตรกับใครก็ตามโดยไม่วางอำนาจ เป็นผู้นำแบบที่เราต้องการในยุคสมัยนี้” แล้วทัมด๊อกมีคุณสมบัติเช่นใดถึงทำให้เบยองจุนเอ่ยปากเช่นนั้น

Tamdoek was born under Jushin Star, the holy star in legend. His life have been set up since his birth. Many people died for him, to protect him because they believed he is the King of Jushin. Isn’t this hurt him the most?
ทัมด๊อกถือกำเนิดภายใต้ดวงดาวจูชิน ชีวิตของเขาถูกผู้อื่นกำหนดนับตั้งแต่วันที่เขาเกิดมาบนโลกนี้ มีผู้คนมากมายต้องบาดเจ็บล้มตายเพื่อปกป้องเขา เพราะเชื่อว่าเขาคือราชาแห่งจูชิน นี่คือความเจ็บปวดที่สุดในใจของเขาใช่หรือไม่

Tamdoek is friendly and positively. He always like to make friends and help people. This quality lie in him since he was young. But when he knew that he is the one who was born under Jushin Star and his mother had sacrificed her life to protect him, that was first time he got hurt. He wanted to run away. Is he really can do this? When Kiha took him to that remote village, he saw people died and suffered, he also hurt too. If he really can run away with Kiha, how far he can escape? Can he really stand still and watch his people suffer like this? This is the spirit of king that he inherit from Hwanwoong. Like when he saw people suffered from heaven and decided to come down to help them. Every time Hwanwoong saw people hurt, he also hurt too. Same as Tamdoek.
ทัมด๊อกเป็นคนสดใส มองโลกในแง่ดี เขาชอบคบหามิตรสหายและช่วยเหลือผู้คน สิ่งนี้อยู่ในตัวเขามาตั้งแต่เล็กจนเติบใหญ่ แต่เมื่อเขามารู้ความจริงว่าตัวเขาก็ถือกำเนิดใต้ดาวจูชิน และมารดาต้องสละชีวิตตัวเองเพื่อปกป้องเขา นั่นเป็นครั้งแรกที่จิตใจของทัมด๊อกรู้สึกเจ็บปวด เป็นเหตุที่ทำให้เขาอยากหนีไปให้ไกล แต่เขาจะทำได้จริงหรือ เมื่อครั้งที่คีฮาพาเขาหนีไปยังหมู่บ้านแร้นแค้นนั่น เขาเห็นผู้คนอดอยากล้มตาย ใจของเขาก็พลอยเจ็บปวดไปด้วย ถ้าคีฮาพาเขาหนีไปได้จริงๆ เขาจะไปได้ไกลสักแค่ไหน เขาจะทนได้หรือที่ต้องเห็นราษฏรของเขาต้องทุกข์ยากขนาดนี้ นั่นคือจิตวิญญาณของกษัตริย์ที่เขาได้รับสืบทอดมาจากเทพฮวานวุง เช่นเมื่อครั้งที่ทรงมองเห็นมนุษย์ทุกข์ยากจากบนสวรรค์ สุดท้ายก็ต้องลงมาเพื่อช่วยเหลือมนุษย์ให้พ้นทุกข์ ครั้งใดที่เทพฮวานวุงเห็นความทุกข์ยากของมนุษย์จะทรงรู้สึกเจ็บปวดไปด้วย เช่นเดียวกับทัมด๊อก

Many people died for him, Julno’s brothers, royal guards, and even his father that sacrificed himself to make him to be a king. Why those people have to die for him? Tamdoek cannot understand. For someone who have loyalty, to sacrifice their lives for their beloved leader is not a big deal if that leader is worth for their lives. As General Koh said with Tamdoek, “This is the first time that I don’t scare of death if I can die for you, my lord. The soldiers out there are also think like this. Then, please stand beside us, my lord.”
ยังมีผู้คนอีกมากที่ต้องบาดเจ็บล้มตายเพื่อปกป้องเขา ไม่ว่าจะเป็นพี่น้องเผ่าจุลโน องครักษ์หน่วย 3 และแม้แต่พระบิดาของเขาก็ยอมสละชีพตัวเองเพื่อให้เขาได้เป็นกษัตริย์ ทำไมทุกคนต้องยอมตายเพื่อปกป้องเขาด้วย นั่นเป็นสิ่งที่ทัมด๊อกยังไม่เข้าใจ สำหรับผู้ภักดีแล้วการได้เสียสละชีวิตให้กับผู้นำที่เขารักนั้นไม่ใช่เรื่องใหญ่เลยสักนิด แต่นั่นย่อมขึ้นอยู่กับว่าเขาเป็นผู้นำที่ดีหรือเปล่า อย่างเช่นที่แม่ทัพโกบอกกับทัมด๊อกว่า “นี่เป็นครั้งแรกที่หม่อมฉันไม่รู้สึกกลัวตาย ถ้าต้องตายเพื่อฝ่าบาท หม่อมฉันก็ยินดี ทหารข้างนอกเองก็เช่นกัน ดังนั้นขอฝ่าบาทจงอยู่เคียงข้างเรา”

Tamdoek possessed the Heaven Power but he never use it hurt anyone. In fact he don’t care about it at all. When he have to save his men, the tribe’s leader, that have been detained by Yon Garyu and Hwachon. Tamdoek threw the 4 symbols on ground to exchange with his men’s lives. Obviously that for Tamdoek people’s life is more worth.
ทัมด๊อกเป็นผู้ที่มีอำนาจสวรรค์อยู่ในมือ แต่ไม่เคยคิดจะใช้มันทำร้ายใครๆ ที่จริงไม่เคยสนใจสัญลักษณ์ของผู้พิทักษ์ทั้ง 4 ด้วยซ้ำไป เมื่อครั้งที่ไปช่วยหัวหน้าเผ่าที่ถูกกักตัวไว้ในตำหนักของใต้เท้ายอน เขาโยนสัญลักษณ์ทั้ง 4 อย่างไม่ไยดีลงกับพื้นเพื่อแลกกับคนของเขา นั่นแสดงให้แล้วว่าสำหรับทัมด๊อกชีวิตคนย่อมสำคัญกว่า

For a good leader, he must be care for his people’s life before victory. How nation can exist without their people. How army can win without any soldiers.
สำหรับผู้นำที่ดีแล้ว ย่อมต้องนึกถึงชีวิตของประชาชนก่อนชัยชนะเสมอ ประเทศชาติจะอยู่ได้อย่างไรถ้าขาดประชาชน และกองทัพที่ไร้ซึ่งทหารจะมีชัยได้อย่างไร

Leadership in Tamdoek, his concern for people around him, his realization in the importance of life, his agony when someone been hurt for him, his caring in his people and his nation before his own benefit. All of these make him be the leader in everyone’s dream.
ความเป็นผู้นำในตัวทัมด๊อก ความห่วงใยที่มีต่อผู้คนรอบตัว การเห็นคุณค่าของชีวิตผู้อื่น รู้สึกเจ็บปวดทุกครั้งที่มีคนต้องเดือดร้อนเพราะตัวเอง การนึกถึงผลประโยชน์ของประชาชนและประเทศชาติก่อนความสุขของตัวเอง ทั้งหมดนี้หล่อหลอมให้ทัมด๊อกเป็นเสมือนผู้นำในฝันที่ใครๆ ก็อยากมี

For the question, “Is Tamdoek too lonely?” That can be possible. Even he has many friends who believe in him all around, but sometimes you need someone. Someone that you can talk everything with, someone who can comfort you when you feel desperate. As a king, it’s naturally that no one dare to stand beside him. Then he have to stand alone among the high mountain. That’s the loneliness of Tamdoek.
สำหรับคำถามที่ว่าทัมด๊อกโดดเดี่ยวเกินไปหรือไม่ มันก็อาจเป็นได้ เพราะถึงแม้รอบตัวของเขาจะมีผู้ภักดีมากมาย แต่บางครั้งคนเราก็ต้องการใครสักคนที่สามารถพูดคุยด้วยได้ในทุกๆ เรื่อง คนที่สามารถปลอบประโลมจิตใจในยามอ่อนล้า ด้วยความเป็นกษัตริย์ของเขา ทำให้ไม่มีผู้ใดกล้าอาจเอื้อมขึ้นมายืนเคียงข้างเขา เขาต้องยืนอยู่ท่ามกลางเทือกเขาสูงเพียงลำพัง นี่คือความโดดเดี่ยวของทัมด๊อก

As a leader, when people’s life depend on his decision, Tamdoek certainly feel pressure. He try his best for the least risk. But everything in this world not be as we always wish. There are times that it’s not come out as we expected and always out of the way. Then sometimes Tamdoek had doubted in his own leadership. Perhaps because he is pressure himself too much.
ในฐานะผู้นำ เมื่อชีวิตคนมากมายขึ้นอยู่กับการตัดสินใจของเขา แน่นอนที่ทัมด๊อกย่อมรู้สึกกดดัน เขาจึงพยายามทำทุกอย่างให้ดีที่สุด เพื่อลดความเสี่ยงให้น้อยที่สุด แต่ทุกอย่างบนโลกนี้ไม่เป็นไปตามที่เราวาดหวังเสมอไป มีหลายครั้งที่มันไม่เป็นไปตามที่เราวางแผนไว้ และเกิดการผิดพลาดได้ จึงมีบ้างบางครั้งที่ทัมด๊อกรู้สึกสงสัยในความเป็นผู้นำของตัวเอง นั่นอาจเป็นเพราะเขากดดันตัวเองมากเกินไป

Sometimes you need to relax. Your body and mind need some rest, some release. Like water if it have been blocked and have no way out then it have to splash or flow out. But water can transform into its container shape. You should be as water, be transform with situation. Every problems can be solved and everything will be fine at last.
บางครั้งคนเราก็ต้องรู้จักผ่อนคลายบ้าง ร่างกายและจิตใจบางครั้งก็ต้องการพักผ่อน ต้องการปลดปล่อย เหมือนน้ำที่ถูกกักขัง สุดท้ายเมื่อหาทางออกไม่ได้มันก็ต้องไหลล้นออกมา แต่น้ำสามารถปรับเปลี่ยนสภาพไปตามรูปทรงของภาชนะ คนเราก็เช่นกันควรทำตัวเหมือนน้ำ แก้ไขทุกปัญหาตามสภาพการณ์ เท่านี้ทุกอย่างก็จะคลี่คลายไปเอง
